nope ...

Scripture tells us (more than once) that the offering of the Lord Jesus Christ is sufficient to take away the sin of the world ...

John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Scripture tells us when a man or woman is justified (i.e. when God imputes righteousness):

Romans 4:

20 He [Abraham] staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

21 And being fully persuaded that, what he [God] had promised, he [God] was able also to perform.

22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.

23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it [righteousness] was imputed to him;

24 But for us also, to whom it [righteousness] shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;

25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ

Romans 4:20 - 5:1 tells us when a person is justified.

Read the verses, brightfame52 ... God imputes righteousness when a person believes ... right at that very moment ...

if a person rejects God by suppressing the truth in unrighteousness, he or she will remain unjustified.

Romans 1:18-19 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold [Greek katechō = suppress, restrain] the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

Those who suppress/restrain the truth in unrighteousness are without excuse:

Romans 1:20-21 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

They are without excuse because God reveals Himself to them and they suppress the truth in unrighteousness ... they turn from God, reject Him, and walk in their own way. And God allows them to reject Him ...

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee ...

:rolleyes: the one whose "study is incomplete and deceptive" is the one who claims that

proserchomai = hēkō = erchomai

Every word in the Word of God is used by the Author of Scripture ... the Author does not use words randomly.

when God uses the word hēkō He does not mean proserchomai ... nor does He mean erchomai.

when God uses the word erchomai He does not mean proserchomai ... nor does He mean heko.

when God uses the word proserchomai He does not mean erchomai ... nor does He mean heko.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Again ... justification occurs when God imputes righteousness:

Romans 4:

20 He [Abraham] staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

21 And being fully persuaded that, what he [God] had promised, he [God] was able also to perform.

22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.

23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it [righteousness] was imputed to him;

24 But for us also, to whom it [righteousness] shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;

25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ

The offering of the Lord Jesus Christ is sufficient to cleanse all sin of all mankind. For those who reject the offering, there is no other offering for them ...

Hebrews 2:1-3 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation ...

There is no escape from the just recompence of reward ... the words "just recompence of reward" are translated from the Greek word misthapodosia which means compensation. The just compensation for transgression and disobedience is judgment.

There is no escape from judgment for those who neglect so great salvation.

As is Salvation, Justification is promised only to the Seed of Israel !

Isa 45:17, 25

But Israel shall be saved in the Lord with an everlasting salvation:
ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.

In the Lord shall all the seed of Israel be justified,
and shall glory.

So in Rom 5:1

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: These Justified ones by Faith are the Seed of Israel/Abraham as mentioned in Rom 4:16

16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

Again, this is the Seed of Israel Isa 45:25

In the Lord[Jesus Christ] shall all the seed of Israel be justified,
and shall glory 21

People are unaccustomed to God's wisdom and Grace and omnipotence.

God did not create mankind for the most followers possible. God was never in it for the numbers or to gain power, position, authority or wealth.

God already has always been self sufficient and complete. His "mankind exercise " has already provided the results He was looking for. But God is extremely kind....so God is patiently waiting for the last handful. And even though people will still see the "good" in this world God will say, "enough"....and it's over.

95% or more of the population is/was/will be always going to be condemned. That was the original plan all along.

Get used to that idea before continuing.

Do you believe Revelation 7:9 which has heaven populated by a number no man can number? Where do all these people come from?

:rolleyes: ... replacement theology ...

God makes plain that He considers mankind as follows:

1 Corinthians 10:32 Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God

Jews = Jews who are not born again
gentiles = non-Jews who are not born again
church of God = comprised of Jews and gentiles who are born again wherein there is neither Jew nor Greek ... for ye are all one in Christ Jesus

The church does not replace Israel (Jews).

yes!!! :cool:

Revelation 7:9-10 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

There have been between 30 and 60 billion people come into the world. If 95 % are unsaved, that certainly leaves a number that can easily be numbered. So do you believe history has a long way to go?

YOU are talking about "measuring God". An activity that I most strongly recommend against.
Just saying. Remember when David tried to take a census? It didn't exactly work out.

I'm just asking questions about a statement you made and trying to understand your reasoning. Thus, I asked questions.
If you don't desire to answer that is your prerogative. Assigning motives to my actions would require a revelation of God to know.

You did well to employ the sands and stars in your first response. That is the analogy God used. And I'm not looking for an exact number only to characterize the number as God does. Both the number of stars and grains of sand are finite numbers. But they are exceedingly large numbers.

These are numbers only God knows. "The secret things of God's are His and His alone."
And where you might be correct that they are finite....still uncountable by man. Maybe one day we will know the number....maybe not. It's not important to me to know....there's a LOT of other more pressing issues to search out.
Some are really pressing....
Like when is a prophet's testimony at its end?
What is the formula of a prophesy of near term, far term and mid far term?

And that's just two highly relevant questions that have answers and need answers today.
