Christ is God

Jesus is the "husband" of God's People, the Church (Eph 5).

God is "husband" to His People--as such, sinners are called "adulteresses" against God (Ja 4).

Therefore, how could Jesus not be God?

The Spirit of God in the prophets of old is called the Spirit of Christ.

The Bible says Christ is God.

He is God and man.

He is an invisible Spirit that showed a visible image of Himself because that is the only way for a person, or angel, to see God.

That is why the Bible says Jesus dwells in the light that no person can approach unto, and no person has ever seen Him, and no person will ever see Him, because He is an invisible Spirit but He showed a visible image of Himself.

It throws some people off when the Bible says God was manifest in the flesh for they say He is a big Spirit and cannot fit in to a human body.

God manifest in the flesh means that He manifest all His attributes to the man Christ Jesus for He is the fulness of the Godhead bodily, and it pleased the Father that in Him all fulness shall dwell, and He has the Spirit without measure.

Which is why the Bible says He is the express image of God.

And the Spirit in Christ is still connected to the omnipresent Spirit of God because He cannot be separated.

Christ does not have His own Spirit that moves around with Him because there cannot be a double portion of the Spirit in one area, and an area where the Spirit is not at.

But He moves through the Spirit and wherever He is at the Spirit is there.

The same with the saints.

The Spirit is Christ is still connected to the omnipresent Spirit of God, and He moves through the Spirit, so Jesus is an omnipresent Spirit that showed a visible image of Himself.

I really like this Unitarian approach to John 1--it makes more sense--even if I wouldn't agree with Unitarians. Thought it may be of interest.

No. A lot does NOT have to be address. Once the truth is known (which it is) one either accepts it as truth or rejects it. God's truth says that Jesus is GOD. Jesus -- who is Truth -- says that He is GOD. Period.

The Unitarians are choosing Hell, so you let them alone. Christ told us to let the blind lead the blind into the ditch. We are to leave them alone. Once Christians start dithering about the fundamentals of the faith, the next thing is plain apostasy. But then again you do not have a grasp of one of the key fundamentals -- justification by grace through faith.

It is evident this is your methodology--it's why you have so many loose ends in your views. The issue with that is it is unhelpful to people who notice the loose ends.

Kindly give us only ONE EXAMPLE of a loose end in what I post.

The son is the fulness of the only God manifest to all people in the form and body of Jesus christ

This was Jesus speaking before he came forth and was manifest in the flesh it’s why the gospels constantly identify him in ot prophecy

“I am the LORD” he said this when no one had ever really met him

Then after Jesus came his witnesses

“and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

Remember the glory Jesus returned to after he died and rose

When the lord looked down from heaven in the ot and saw man was lost on sin it wasn’t a different lord ot was that he hadn’t yet come forth with salvstion to mankind that’s what Jesus did he is god who came forth in the flesh and showed us salvstion invited us to believe and be saved then returned to the glory of heavens kingdom

When we consider the meaning of His name, among other texts, we come to understand fully why the Angel declared to Mary that He would be called Yeshua Messiah, for He shall save His people.
Both words of His title contain God's name as given to Moses on the mount. It is not rocket science, all it takes is a little credit to the chosen people to bring the Messiah to all who will accept Him as Who He truly is. Reading all of the Word we discover that the true chosen people are all who come to Jesus Yeshua in spirit and truth.

What you have shared is only HALF THE TRUTH. Everyone agrees that Jesus is the Christ (Messiah). But only the cults and heretics deny that JESUS IS GOD.

Are you implying that I have ever said otherwise? You have eyes but do not see it seems. I see you have taught that people not use the Old Testament to establish the New. Have you not read that the law and the prophets point to Jesus The story of the cross is in the Psalms . Zechariah and Isaaiah teach of all time to come and the hereafter. Of course the New Testament is the establishing of the truth of the OT. Apparently you are hung up on human doctrine and intellectual understanding with no regard to the teaching of the Holy Spirit to all, and for all.

Yes Christ is fully God. Too many people focus on that and forget He is also fully human in every way. The Word according to John Chapter 1 is God and is eternal.

Look again at this term to distinguish it in usage from the term Son. The Word or Logos can mean the plan, thought, or mind of God. The Incarnation was a predestined plan—an absolutely certain future event—and therefore it had a reality attached to it that no human thought could ever have. The Word can also mean the plan or thought of God as expressed in the flesh, that is, in the Son. What is the difference, therefore, between the two terms “Word” and “Son”? The Word had preexistence and the Word was God (the Father), so we can use this term without reference to humanity. However, the Son always refers to the Incarnation, and we cannot speak of the Son in the absence of the human element. Except as a foreordained plan in the mind of God, the Son did not have preexistence before the conception in the womb of Mary. The Son of God preexisted in thought but not in substance. The Bible calls this foreordained revelation the Word (John 1:1, 14).


John 3:16 calls Jesus the only begotten Son of God. However, many people use the phrase “eternal Son.” Is this latter phrase correct? No. The Bible never uses it, and it expresses a concept contradicted by Scripture. The word begotten is a form of the verb beget, which means “to procreate, to father, to sire.” Thus begotten indicates a definite point in time—the point at which conception takes place. By definition, the begetter (father) always must come before the begotten (offspring). There must be a time when the begetter exists and the begotten is not yet in existence, and there must be a point in time when the act of begetting occurs. Otherwise the word begotten has no meaning. So, the very words begotten and Son each contradict the word eternal as applied to the Son of God.

“Son of God” refers to the humanity of Jesus. Clearly the humanity of Jesus is not eternal but was born in Bethlehem. One can speak of external existence in past, present, and future only with respect to God. Since “Son of God” refers to humanity or to deity as manifest in humanity, the idea of an eternal Son is incomprehensible. The Son of God had a beginning.

The Sonship—or the role of the Son—began with the child conceived in the womb of Mary. The Scriptures make this perfectly clear. Galatians 4:4 says, “But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law.” The Son came in the fullness of time—not in eternity past. The Son was made of a woman—not begotten eternally. The Son was made under the law—not before the law. (See also Hebrews 7:28.) The term begotten refers to the conception of Jesus described in Matthew 1:18-20 and Luke 1:35. The Son of God was begotten when the Spirit of God miraculously caused conception to take place in the womb of Mary. This is evident from the very meaning of the word begotten and also from Luke 1:35, which explains that because the Holy Ghost would overshadow Mary, therefore her child would be the Son of God. We should notice the future tense in this verse: the child to be born “shall be called the Son of God.”
