Real Christians agree with what the Lord says in His Word.... if you aren't willing to put what the Lord says first, then you are in grave danger and apparently don't even know it!
I think if you knew more of what PennEd posts you would have held back from that post.

If one thinks it's OK to be gay.... they don't know the Lord or what He has said in His Word

Saying things such as "I don't know how to react to Bruce Jenner's situation" is very problematic for the Lord because God made Bruce Gender to be a man... and Bruce Gender decided to claim He is now a woman which is in direct opposition and rebellion to the will of the Lord that created him to be... male!

Anybody that does not immediately know and understand this is sin, has serious problem in their relationship to the Lord!

Thank you for your kind words gentlemen.

If Mr. Lock would have taken the time to actually read my post, he would have seen that they were not even my words. But I wholeheartedly agree with their sentiments. NOWHERE in her post did she agree with homosexuality or transgenderism.

But hardcore legalists can't seem to understand the concept of loving your neighbor or actually living the Gospel.

Would a real Christian... not know if Bruce Gender claiming to be a woman is a sin?

I am CERTAIN you are an EXPERT at identifying OTHER people's sin.

I'm sure you'll hear a "well done my good and faithful servant" for pointing out so many OTHER people's sin!

If you need scripture references to show sexual perversion is a sin, let me know.

My point is that Christians accept what God says and submits to it.... rather than wondering if people like Bruce Gender have sinned or not.

He obviously is in opposition and rebellion to what God's Word teaches, so what's the problem???

Why not simply accept what the Lord says about this???

"Caitlyn" Jenner is a guy.. the OP of this thread is a FEMALE. And NOTHING will change those facts.

THIS post, from a Transgender thread, more than 8 yrs ago, had a profound effect upon me. I have from time to time brought it up to people in my life. Maybe it can be helpful here. The Poster has come back under different names since 2015, but I'm not sure if she's here still:

Tru dat my brotha! Actually, I've been pondering this situation with God for awhile and am hesitant to respond on here until I'm sure in my spirit that my post will line up with the Word. In the meantime, I'm reading all these various posts and feel something is missing... can't put my finger on it yet though.

I mean, when I was an alcoholic.. when I was a total pot head... when I lived to party and certainly looked the part.... when my mind was saturated with the world... my neighbor, a young blind Christian woman named Mary became my friend. I didn't know why because I wasn't worthy to be anyone's friend as I lived for myself.

Mary didn't preach, didn't try to force scripture down my throat, didn't point out my sins like I was a "filthy sinner" whom she was trying to save from hellfire. She was just this extremely joyful woman who was overflowing with exuberance and peace and.. (here's the clincher!) talked to Jesus like He was standing next to her. Every time I saw her walking her little doggie up the sidewalk, she was talking to Jesus and thanking Him for giving her sight. She was a blind girl. But she was praising the Lord for loving her and letting her see clearly. (Ok, now I'm crying my eyes out remembering that.) \:)/ Glory to God!

But when Mary talked to me, she just became my friend. I started asking questions about Jesus. Something in my heart (the Holy Spirit, of course) told me I was missing something, I was not whole, I was dark inside and I knew it just being in Mary's presence. She never told me I was lost without the Lord, I KNEW IT!

So you see my plight here. I can't point a finger or throw rocks at others. I don't know how to react to Bruce Jenner's situation. All I know is he ain't happy with himself or with life. Anyone who has to keep trying to win the world's approval does not approve of themselves in their own heart. Nor do they believe God approves of them. So I'll pray and ask the Lord to let Bruce know how much Jesus Christ yearns for him to be set free in his mind and to find rest in the Father's arms of love.
Great testimonial. Really... the OP must be prayed for. Her heart is blinded. Her eyes must be opened to the lies of satan.

Call out sin, but put down the rocks. That's our job.
I threw a few rocks at other kids when I was little... and they threw some at me too.

But, since then I have not thrown any rocks at anybody.

But, those teachings things not supported by scripture such as calvinism, reformed theology, and catholicism should have their false doctrine branded as the heresy that it is.

Your method of self-expression is robust, loquacious and expansive.

Your reading comprehension is... Abysmal. PennEd didn't say any of those things you are accusing him of saying. Go back and read that post you got upset about again. Read it slowly. Stop and look up some words in a dictionary if you need to. He didn't say anything CLOSE to what you apparently think he said.

He certainly agreed with the article he posted that said "I don't know how to react to Bruce Jenner's situation"

No need to read any further because this indicates one has not accepted the fact that sexual perversion is a sin. Plain and simple.

No need to wonder... if someone claims to be a different sex than God made them... this is perverse and sinful. Those that accept the whole counsel of God know this and speak accordingly.

Maybe he would like to back track and acknowledge that what Bruce Gender has done is in fact sinful.

Go back and carefully reread what @PennEd posted, (you may have to learn to read between the lines)
I think it's pretty clear that what he shared was about someone sharing how they were more blessed and ministered to by someone coming along beside them and LIVING their faith WITHOUT a bunch of wordy preaching and stone throwing.

Well, I stated that what Bruce Gender is doing was a sin... and he get upset at that claiming I must have been some expert in identifying what sin is or something to that effect.

Those that know and understand being a cross dresser is perversion and sinful... wouldn't be saying that.

Trying to get people to accept the Lord without teaching repentance is leaving them in their sin..

I read his post. There was nothing that even tacitly condoned either homosexuality or transsexuality.

Put your glasses on and read it again.

I think what @PennEd meant by that Bruce Jenner comment, and I might be wrong, so correct me if I am, Penn. I think he meant he doesn't know how to react about Bruce, because that mindset and lifestyle is so mind-boggling to straight people. I mean, seriously, trying to change genders sounds like something in a sci-fi movie.. I don't understand the LGBT-whatever ppl at all, nor their mindsets or lifestyle.

And "Caitlyn", wellllll, everyone knows HE is STILL Bruce. :)

The ARTICLE he posted that he said impressed him.... that person that wrote that said they didn't know if Bruce Gender was in sin or not

By not addressing that it IS in fact sin, that leaves the door open to being in agreement with sexual perversion.

Christians need to make things clear concerning this topic... sexual perversion IS sinful and needs to be repented of in those embracing this lifestyle. If Christians don't tell these folks this is sin, we are leaving them in their sin and they'll go to hell even if they claim to be a Christian and don't repent of this and all their other sin.

I think he meant he doesn't know how to react about Bruce
I think that part was in the article he posted... that was written by someone else.

My point is... what aren't Christians coming right out and speaking the truth that this is sin?

Maybe some folks be scared of the funny peoples and live on egg shells around them in far they may possible offend these folks.

If that's it, they should remember where Jesus said the fearful go in Revelation 21:8 eek2.gif
