You're being presumptuous. I was against the Catholic church a few months ago, but then I saw more and more proof of their authority, so I changed my mind. The only one that needs to come out is you. Come out from rebelling against God.
So Mary worship?
Idolatry?
Praying to dead people?
That is what their authority calls for.
The Bible is against these things, and thus you would be in rebellion against God if you submitted to such darkness.

There is no authority the RCC has because their authority is not established in Scripture one iota.
Also, just saying they are an authority does not mean anything to me. I know they are not an authority by any means.
They will be destroyed in Revelation 17-18.

You said:
Again... does exterminating the Jews go against the word of God???! Does partaking in idolatry go against the word of God??!
Yes, and yes. So then how can you submit to their authority if you are not bowing down to their statues and or kissing them?
You would be in rebellion against them if you refused their idol worship. This is what you are not getting.

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? I literaly gave you DOZENS of verse numbers!!!
Calm down please. I do not make a point to hang on people’s posts or read everything they read; Especially if I consider it to be far out their in left field somewhere (No offense of course). You may have posted this a while back but your points would take a lot of my time to reply, and I am pretty positive my rebuttals would not convince you because my current attack against the RCC does not appear to be good enough for the job to turn you away.

You said:
How many times do I have to tell you... I don't want to be part of the Catholic Church!

Bible commands you to obey all authority. Your opinion on the matter is irrelevant. I'm repulsed by the government as well, but you don't see me breaking laws.
I just don’t get what you mean by submit to their authority even means. Obey traffic laws? Idolatry? Kissing the pope’s ring? What things of authority are you referring to?

You've answered your own question by saying the Bible is against these things. But you are still rebelling against God by rebelling against authority.

There is no authority the RCC has because their authority is not established in Scripture one iota.

They will be destroyed in Revelation 17-18.
I gave you many verses that confirm their authority and you haven't addressed a single one, all you've done so far is dance around the topic and use logical fallacies.

Yes, and yes. So then how can you submit to their authority if you are not bowing down to their statues and or kissing them?
You would be in rebellion against them if you refused their idol worship. This is what you are not getting.
Obey all authority as long as it doesn't go against the word of God, that's what YOU are not getting.

No. You are rebelling against God if you submit to the Catholic Church and their idolatry.
Again, the Bible condemns idolatry. Or are you talking about how you can submit to other laws or rules they have that is not idolatry or Mary worship? Again, speaking loudly does not mean anything to me. What matters is what the Bible says.

Again, you are being very mysterious on what submitting to their authority even means. Please explain. Does it include idolatry?
Yes, or no?

You would have to post the verses again or provide the post #. I don’t hang on every word you say, my friend.
I also would have to take time to give a proper reply with Scripture, as well. Granted, I don’t think my rebuttals with Scripture will convince you (even though I may try).

So what you're saying is you don't actually read posts before replying:rolleyes: no wonder I've been repeating myself over and over and you're just ignoring what I say. That's very ignorant of you to waste people's time like that. So I'll say it one last time...

1. I don't like RCC and I don't want to be part of them.
2. The Bible has plenty of proof of their authority (I've given you all the verse numbers).
3. The Bible also commands us to obey all authority as long as it doesn't contradict the word of God.
3. Your (and my) opinion on the corruption of RCC is IRRELEVANT.
4. When you rebel against authority, you rebel against God, because all authority is sanctioned by God.

Peter was listed first among disciples (Matt. 10:1-4, Mark 3:16-19, Luke 6:14-16, Acts 1:13).
Peter was the one who generally spoke for the apostles (Matt. 18:21, Mark 8:29, Luke 12:41, John 6:68-69), and he figured in many of the most dramatic scenes (Matt. 14:28-32, 17:24-27; Mark 10:23-28).
On Pentecost it was Peter who first preached to the crowds (Acts 2:14-40), and he worked the first healing in the Church age (Acts 3:6-7).
It is Peter’s faith that will strengthen his brethren (Luke 22:32) and Peter is given Christ’s flock to shepherd (John 21:17).
An angel was sent to announce the resurrection to Peter (Mark 16:7), and the risen Christ appeared first to Peter (Luke 24:34).
He headed the meeting that elected Matthias to replace Judas (Acts 1:13-26), and he received the first converts (Acts 2:41).
He inflicted the first punishment (Acts 5:1-11) and excommunicated the first heretic (Acts 8:18-23).
He led the first council in Jerusalem (Acts 15) and announced the first dogmatic decision (Acts 15:7-11).
It was to Peter that the revelation came that Gentiles were to be baptized and accepted as Christians (Acts 10:46-48).
Jesus gave Peter the keys to heaven in Mathew 16:19 because he was the first one to acknowledge him as the Messiah.
After the Resurrection, Jesus appeared to his disciples and asked Peter three times, “Do you love me?” (John 21:15-17). In repentance for his threefold denial, Peter gave a threefold affirmation of love. Then Christ, the Good Shepherd (John 10:11, 14), gave Peter the authority he earlier had promised: “Feed my sheep” (John 21:17). This specifically included the other apostles, since Jesus asked Peter, “Do you love me more than these?” (John 21:15), the word “these” referring to the other apostles who were present (John 21:2).

Not everybody is the same. Have you never tuned somebody out on a forum before because what they said was illogical?
Have you never just skipped past a person’s post because you know that even your timely effort of providing a rebuttal to their points would not lead to any change? That is why I did not engage. But I am willing to help, if you feel open to changing your mind.

You said:
1. I don't like RCC and I don't want to be part of them.
I understand why you would say this, but if something is dark and evil and it repulses you enough, you would not join it. Paul says what fellowship does light have with darkness? Are you not fellowshipping with the Catholic Church? Do you not see them as darkness? Are we not to be of the light in following Christ only according to His Word?

You said:

So obedience to traffic laws but not the idolatry stuff?

You said:

I am not sure what you mean by this statement. Does that mean we are to bow down to statues and worship Mary or are we talking about traffic laws here?

You said:

I still do not get what that statement even means. You are not defining what this authority even looks like. Are you talking about serving the Pope in giving him meals, but just not bowing down to the statues part? I don’t understand what actions or beliefs you are to partake in that would be submission to their authority and yet not the other stuff that contradicts God’s Word. You need to clarify that. Except for their belief in the Trinity, the majority of the RCC’s beliefs are unbiblical.

So when you tell me to submit to their authority and you are not defining what that authority even looks like, you are not making any sense, my friend. Why would I submit to terms I do not even know about? That makes no sense to me.

If you don't want to read, then don't waste people's time by replying with ignorant comments, that's very rude and inconsiderate. Nothing of what I said is nonsense because I provided Bible proof for everything, while you provided NO proof for your nonsense.

I understand that you say this, but something is dark and evil repulses you enough, you would not join it. Paul says what fellowship does light have with darkness? If it's the true church of God, then we are to do our best to pull it out of darkness, not abandon it like cowards and rebels who would rather have their own little churches that teach what we like to hear.

What does submitting to their authority look like?
Recognizing them as the one true church and doing our best to provide a positive influence.

BTW ~ Who else believes the same way you do?
We read about in the Bible about other believers and not just one believer with an odd belief.
Do you think the Catholic Church people are saved?
How can they be if they are into idolatry?

Don't follow unbiblical beliefs. Follow biblical beliefs that they do have. They worship the one true God and a lot of their prayers are biblical as well.

This sounds like a path to ecumenism. So where in the Bible does it say if we do not accept the whore of Babylon as the one true church we are in rebellion against God?

I don't know anyone who shares my beliefs, but then again I base my beliefs on evidence, not hive mind.

Anyone who builds their life on the foundation of Christ is saved. Their evil works will be burned away and only good will remain.

No. They do not worship the same God we do. They worship Mary and other gods. They also worship a European white Jesus, when in reality Jesus did not look like that. It’s all just silly. They are so fake.

I'm not familiar with the term Ecumenism, but why do you support division among the churches?

Also - Romans 13:2

Pharasees were evil too, but Jesus himself told everyone to obey and do everything they say. Your argument about the goodness of authority is irrelevant. Bible tells us to obey ALL authority, whether good or bad.

Jesus condemned Pharisees to hell, meaning they weren't worshipping God rightly either...

The Bible talks about the saints (plural). They obviously would not all believe as you did. Why? Because your belief is new like some new religion that has never existed before.

You said:

No, That’s a false misinterpretation by the sin and still be saved Christians of our day.

In regards to the parable of the building and it's materials in 1 Corinthians 3:

Paul says before the parable, "you are God's building."

So we are the materials that make up the building.

I believe Paul and the other apostles are a part of the foundation with Christ being the chief cornerstone or the ultimate baseline foundation (Ephesians 2:20), and that Paul's work in the gospel are the result of the Corinthians being initially saved by the gospel. However, Paul is now concerned that his labor in the gospel (concerning them) is now in vain because the Corinthians are now working the sins of strife and envying (Note: Paul condemns the sins of strife and envying when writing to the Galatians (Galatians 5:19-21). Paul says that they which do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God). In Galatians 4:11, Paul was concerned for the Galatians in that they were going back to the Old Law so as to be justified or saved. He was concerned that his labor for the gospel was in vain for the Galatians.

So the parable speaks of how his labor for the gospel (concerning the Corinthians) was now possibly in vain for them, too.

#1. The chief cornerstone foundation = Jesus Christ.

#2. Built as a part of the foundation on top of Christ = The apostles (including Paul, etc.) (Ephesians 2:20).

#3. The actual building materials of the tower or building = God's people (In this instance it would be the Corinthians).

#4. The Corinthians would be like: Wood, hay, and stubble in this particular point in time within their life while they abided in their sins of strife, and envying (Which are sins that will cause a person to not inherit the Kingdom of God).

Wood, hay, and stubble are not materials that could survive a fire.

#5. Paul (the soul winner, and builder of the gospel and builder upon the foundation of Jesus Christ) would be saved through the fire (despite his work - i.e. the Corinthians being his work) would be burned up because of their sins. For Paul then says that if any man defiles the temple, God will destroy them (Meaning: God will destroy the Corinthians if they do not repent of their sins). We are the temple of God. Our bodies are the temples of God. If we as believers defile our temples by sin, God will destroy us. This would be in the Lake of Fire and not on this Earth.

This is what I believe the parable is clearly saying.
