I don't usually have moving parts in my panels because I found such is too distracting.
Still, I have a few that are animated gifs. Not many. One of my all time faves of any
panel I have done at all is one I gave a variable border to because I liked both set-ups
equally, and because it is a border, it is not as distracting as something inside the panel.

That woman started out looking like this:

I liked what I was able to do with this young woman, also:

Here is one of the gifs I did, from about four years ago.

Thanks! Someone I knew and was quite fond of had one, so it was for him and his
dog named Honey. My co-worker hated it LOL. We would howl with laughter over
some of her critiques of my work. But I appreciated it. I made changes to some based
on things she said even if on others I was like, no way, the dog stays! heehee
.:giggle:

Actually that gif with the dog and eagle is from around March of 2019, so is that almost 5 years ago?

Don't tell @Cameron143 , but my math skills are almost non-existant! .

I used that same background that is the base for that Luke panel
in this Romans 3 panel which I have never posted before!

And I know I have used that woman's face before. She may be ai generated.
I see a lot of those now when I am looking for new stuff to work with.
I don't mind some of it especially because I make fairly major changes to
the faces. I like them because I can find large files and use just the hair or
the eyes or the nose or the mouth or even just the shoulders. Haha.

Here is the panel I made using that same woman's face:

Psalm 121:7-8
:) .began design 2023-09-11, first posted 2023-09-13. The shoulders belong to Kristen Stewart.
I have used them elsewhere also!

I keep records of all my urls. I have a few other panels that have never been shown.
Some are not quite finished, plus I started working on a Psalms' series. I had the idea
to design at least one panel per Psalm. I had done quite a few before that, though

I was going to make all these new Psalm's panels vertical, using smart phone type
backgrounds. I found some that are quite stunning. I am not sure if it is a bonus or
a problem that the vertical format does not seem to allow for as much creativity.

Psalm 11:5-7
:)designed and posted 2023-11-17

Not done much since then... though I am still collecting, mostly BGs for the Psalm's panels. Like this:

Thank you so much for your very kind words and appreciation of my labors of love! It is out of love that I do these designs: love of God, love of His Word, love for my brothers and sisters in Christ, love for the lost who may find these designs as they roam the web, bringing the Truth to them, and my love of being involved in the creative process. I never knew I was going to be doing this, but it suits me quite well in so many ways, and I learned a little photoshop, which is the program I use, at my job. I have been working in the photofinishing industry since the very day of my 21st birthday in 1976, and always considered it a gift from God, Whom I referred to as the Spirit of the universe in those days, because I was not a believer then, and working in a photo lab was the only thing I knew I wanted to do. Being past the age of retirement now I am still working but only six hours days three days a week after being laid off with the covid closures after turning 65, receiving a cancer diagnosis, going through chemo and radiation, having a surgery to remove what was left of the tumour etc, more chemo, another surgery, months and months and months of wound care which ended just before Christmas two years ago, and then having a rather large hernia repaired last summer before my boss called me back in 2022. It was all such perfect timing! God has been so good to me.

Wishing you and yours a wonderful safe, and warm Christmas season .:)

@SilverFox7

Thank you so much for the inspiration and encouragement .:)
I love the enhancements you made to this gorgeous panel!

In addition to the humility displayed by Mary at Gabriel's message, humility is a common theme to our Lord's first coming to Bethlehem--born in a barn and placed in a manger (feeding-trough for animals).

And, look at who the announcement of the birth of our King was given to initially: humble shepherds tending their flocks in the fields at night.

Luke 2:9-14

New King James Version

9 And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. 10 Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. 11 For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 12 And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”

13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:
14 “Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”

I never thought about this until I looked at the angel's message to the shepherds in this posting that the angel basically kicked off the gospel at the birth of Jesus. He brought the shepherds--and all of us for that matter--"...good tidings of great joy..." about the birth of "Christ the Lord". The gospel (glad tidings) is all about Jesus and His Kingdom!

Of course, I had to cite verse 14 included in your awesome panel again because of the "great joy" we have at the peace, goodwill, and favor we have from our loving Lord who was born as a poor and humble baby and suffered and died for all of us as an adult.

Merry Christmas!!!

Thank you! And all very good points! I do not know why I felt compelled to add that part about a sword piercing the soul, but I feel it belongs there, and is a little later in Luke 2, when Jesus is being presented as a babe at the temple and they are talking to Simeon. "So that thoughts from many hearts may be revealed." Maybe I should add that, too? Though I have found keeping the text to a minimum is best. Short, sweet, and to the point! And also, that is kind of what it is like, or was for me, when God finally revealed Himself to me in a way that made it impossible for me to accept as any other than the one true God I had been running from the majority of my life. I'd had other encounters and been seeking for quite some time but could not accept the Biblical God nor acknowledge/understand my need of Jesus until then. Mostly my panels are along the lines of uplifting encouragement and expressing God's love for us. I know He drew me with loving kindness as the text says, and that is what I would wish for every person to come to know.

The first Christmas card I designed back at the end of 2018 was when I finally realized I needed to get more serious about these designs I was doing and stop making everything purple! LOL!!! Though I still do largely purple ones at times, I have embraced the rainbow because there are a lot of beautiful colours and colour combinations, AND the rainbow is the sign of God's promise to us.

My 2018 Christmas card to my brothers and sisters in Christ ^ (done by
request and in collaboration based in part on the little drummer boy.)

I update older panels to make them 900 x 600 pixels, the same size as all my newer panels for the last couple of years, I think? My daughter gave me this laptop for Christmas two years ago, and I lost some of my work on it when the hard drive went kaput about six months later. Luckily, I had a back-up drive where all most of my images for making these were saved. Unfortunately not all my new panels. So some I only have the flatted sized versions of and not the layered working copies where I can make edits, or the start of them, and they can change radically from when I save them from being named by date to when I move them to a new folder as they near completion and rename them by verse citation. My goodness, you are getting an earful! LOL

merry Christmas gem 😊

Keep sending the purple flowers there beautiful my garden is full of them colour flowers,
Thank you Mr. Thunderrr-mental, sir, and to you as well!

Here is one of this year's purple ones:

Acts 2:17 (Joel 2:28)
:) designed and posted 2023-04-05

That's the one I was looking for, but of course found others, some from last year because I could not
find that one at first. I was looking by date and then have to open them to see what verse is on it so
I can find them in the other folder where they are named by citation, and in a more finished state.
Then I can find the url for it in my records' document. I have thought of putting a hidden layer in
the working panel that would have the url, but that is just a lot of work to start doing at this point,
to get them all in there. But it is a good idea to start doing as I design new ones... it would save time.

More purple ones:

Isaiah 50:10b
^ design started 2022-10-14; first posted 2022-10-18

Psalm 104:33-35
^ design started 2022-10-15; first posted 2022-10-19. A newcomer told me they knew I was not
a Christian because I design women who have purple hair. LOL. So I posted that back to him.

Matthew 13:16-17

Psalm 16:2, 5, 8, 11a
^ first posted 2023-06-19

^ I found this one too. I had to size it smaller because I have never uploaded it to my image host
as it is not finished or even named by verse citation yet, so it has never been posted before, either.
That one is very blue but the background is running to purple. I should finish it...
One of my faves has hardly any purple in it at all!

To the best of my ability to count the panels I designed this year, there are 142 of them.
That is including a few in my new vertical format I chose to work through the Psalms...

it is just after four in the afternoon here, Christmas Eve day
.:)

And a very merry Christmas to you, too!

Oy, I thought I posted this LOL

I think I was distracted by my need to eat the pizza slice I had warming in the oven .:giggle:

It is now 7:10 PM.

One of my sisters called right after I had gotten up this morning. She is three hours ahead of me...

We were on the phone for close to two hours. She lost her husband to a very aggressive
brain tumor last summer. If you could pray for her, please do. She is still really hurting.

Thank you.

sorry to hear that 😔 there's not many people who truly recover from a loss like that, I hope she does tho.

It's can hit the older people a lot harder because they live for each other so much more when they get older, knowing they have very little time left. It breaks my heart

Do you know how our friend @Blain is I've been worried about him

Yes, I know Blain, but have not seen him around recently. I think of him often as we have been
involved in PMs together, one a group but also privately. I have been meaning to write him but get
so distracted by other things and am also quite forgetful. I hope he is okay. He's had quite a go of it.
