I use the eggshells on the garden, crush them up and sprinkle them. I don't eat the shells.
Maybe some people do? Though that would be new for me, if someone cracked their egg and crushed it and put it in their omelette. Or just ate their boiled egg with the shell. I would then suspect they must be some kind of lizard person.

I just noticed the spelling of the thread title. Well done, Seoul!

Breakfast for me normally includes three eggs, sunny side up. I cook them with a lidded pan so the steam cooks the tops of the yolks. I like them so that the white is just barely done, while the yolk is still runny.

My dear wife prefers hers so that the whites are completely cooked, which often means the yolks are as well.

I cook my eggs, she cooks her eggs, we get along.

Someone said deviled eggs and here I am!

That's what I make at just about every family dinner. Like, before a family dinner multiple people will call me up to make sure I am making deviled eggs.

I do something different every time. Cream cheese and pickled pepper juice, pureed bell pepper and sour cream, blue cheese and lemon juice... Whatever I feel like will go well together.

My mother used to put sandwich spread in them. Sandwich spread is kind of like McDonald's Big Mac sauce. Unfortunately the good brand she used to use is no longer in production. In fact I could only find one brand last time I wanted to make deviled eggs that way, and it was terrible!

How do you make deviled eggs? Do you do the same thing every time? What do you do like to put in them?
Wow, you sound like the deviled egg professional!
I just make them the classic way. I thought I had skills in the kitchen. I feel humbled now!

What is your take on eggnog?

Actually, that beverage can be a contentious topic of discussion. I enjoy it during the holidays with a sprinkle of nutmeg on top. If I was still a drinking man I would add a shot of rum or a splash of Jack.

Alcohol consumption is another contentious topic, especially in the Bible Discussion Forum. It is best to avoid such a place.
I love eggnog! But, only if I grate some nutmeg on top.
I also like eggnog ice, which I also grate nutmeg on top.
I'm glad someone else puts nutmeg on top! I've wondered what in the world is wrong with people who don't.

I've had eggnog with Schnapps. I thought it was tasty. If I may say, I am not opposed to wee bit of alcohol as long as it's not overindulging, although I personally rarely have a drink. My great grandfather made his own moonshine. He'd have a modest drink in the evening and no more. I never thought less of him because of it. My grandparents (who I lived with growing up) they built/owned/ran a bar and they drank beer like I drink coffee...now that's too much :D

I love coffee. That is another huge topic. I see nothing wrong with moderate consumption of alcohol either even though I have abstained since 1992.

Since 1992? That's amazing!

I have a beer once in a great while, last time was last October 3. I was in Atlanta at the time. Where I'm at in Oklahoma I don't find Colt 45, so when I seen it there I had to try it. It's now a fave. My grandmother (the bar owner), she'd give babies a drink of beer. I asked her one day, "Do you think that's a good idea?" She replied, "It's healthy for them!" I think she's the reason for my occasional taste for a beer!

But different families have different classic ways. What is yours?

Just the regular ol' classic recipe of mayo, mustard, vinegar, salt, pepper, paprika. I use avocado mayo.

I am definitely not a professional. I have never once made a souffle or even a simple roux.

I just like combining flavors to see if they turn out the way they turned out in my imagination. Usually they do. Sometimes I get surprised.

Avocado... Mmmmm...

I can't make anything with avocado. I keep eating it as fast as I slice and peel it. Even guacamole never gets done. Getting multiple avocados doesn't help, because I will eat them too.

But it seems to me like avocado, cream cheese, vinegar and a touch of dill weed would make some really good deviled eggs.

Souffle! Also, meringue. I love making meringue pies. I feel like it's hard to run into anyone anymore who can make a meringue.
Here's my cheese souffle... cheesesouffle.jpg

Actually, I don't like avocados. I know, I'm probably the only person on the planet who doesn't. I do like the avocado oil mayo though. I tried once and now it's the only mayo I buy.

Do you make stuff on commission? I would commission an avocado souffle...
Interesting, only a very few people have tried my cooking. But, I'm told I'm a very good cook though. This is coming from loved ones, so maybe they are just being nice? :D
