Revelation 9:
1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. 2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.
key words: unto arose
sun and air darkened by smoke from bottomless pit
Seems to me to be talking about a pit in the earth.
Where do you think it is (or, will be) - in "outer space"...?

Seems to me to be talking about a pit in the earth.
Where do you think it is (or, will be) - in "outer space"...?
Otherwise, you have two tops and no bottom. 
Read those two sentences again. And again. Read them until you understand that they are self-refuting and therefore ridiculous.

What I was thinking follows what I said in post #411.
In terms of the 'pit', it is bottomless. In terms of the 'hole', it has both top and bottom.
I was speaking in terms of the 'hole' and not the 'pit'.

This kind of thing sometimes happens when I am on my lunch break nearing the time when I must get off of here and go back to work.

So - the locust creatures that come out of the smoke from the pit fly around stinging humans without having any kind of 'physical' form???
The detailed description of the creatures in Revelation 9 is only referring to 'spiritual' features...???
Or, are you saying that 'physical' creatures somehow come out of a 'spiritual' pit?
