Hey Everyone,

Several adventurous people have been talking about going on a CCC (Christian Chat Cruise) in a few other threads.

But one of the big concerns many of us have is, "What if any Whangdoodles wind up sneaking on board?"

And so, it seems like a very complete (and utterly ridiculous) primer on Whangdoodles will be necessary before we embark on this trip. While our own intrepid @CarriePie and @Charlesiii will valiantly protect us in case of any emergencies, we want every passenger to BE AWARE!!

Now I have to admit.

I'd never heard of a Whangdoodle until I started reading CarriePie's posts. And I'm not sure that Google was of much help.

A quick Google search says:

"In children's literature, the Whangdoodle takes many forms. Roald Dahl famously included bloodthirsty whangdoodles in 'The Minpins,' while Julie Andrews Edwards wrote a beloved novel titled, 'The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles" about a wise, magical creature."

Wow.

That's not confusing at all!! So are they vicious, bloodthirsty killers... or wise magical creatures??!!

It seems I don't know diddly squat about Whangdoodles (or much of anything else, for that matter) -- and judging from the responses in the Cruising threads, I don't think I'm alone!

And so, the best way to solve this seems to be -- with a poll, of course!! Answers shall be multiple choice and just for fun, visible to the crowd (after all, we NEED to see who really knows their Whangdoodle stuff!)

Choose all the answers that apply, then come back and share your own vast, extensive knowledge about these elusive creatures!!

After all, NO ONE on this forum will be able to rest until we ALL know exactly what a Whangdoodle is -- and what to do with them!

For instance, we ALL need to know:

1. What do Whangdoodles look like, and what are their natural habitats? How do we spot a Whangdoodle?

2. What do Whangdoodles eat? Are PEOPLE on the menu? (And even if not, WILL @Lanolin's BELOVED GIRAFFES be safe??!)

3. What do we DO with a Whangdoodle once we find one? Eradicate it on sight, or trap it and let it go free?! What is a Whangdoodle's greatest weakness?

4. What is a Whangdoodles true purpose? (Do Whangdoodles have families, hopes, and dreams?!)

Now I realize most of us here are mere novices, so I'm hoping @CarriePie, @Charlesiii, and anyone else with Whangdoodle Wrangling Experience can set us all straight!

But in the meantime, this is ONE thread where you can let all your best theories, assumptions, and most creative rumors fly!!!

* What are YOUR best guess as to what Whangdoodles are, and how we can protect ourselves from them?!

(Or, like so many "villains" in the modern "stories" of today -- are they simply just misunderstood?!)

Let's figure this out together!!

Since I've never personally dealt with a Whangdoodle, all my poll answers -- for now -- is giving them the benefit of the doubt.

BUT, I'm really just waiting for all the experts to come in -- and set me straight!!

This is one subject over which none of us mind being corrected. :D

P.S. Be sure to be as detailed in your descriptions and remedies as you possible can!

After all, this thread is called The Complete Guide to Whangdoodles, NOT The Halfway Guide or The Lazy Person's Guide!

Whangdoodles are apparently formidable, and we need ALL the Whangdoodle expertise that we can get!

Thank you all for your contributions. 😎

Don't listen to Julie Andrews!

They are completely hideous when they show their true face. You won't have to question whether or not it's a Whangdoodle, you'll know!
Unfortunately, we've found that they can pose as people. Kind of like that theory about Reptilians.

Whangdoodles have an insatiable appetite. Some do fancy people, but not all of them.

Over time, we've realized that their presence serves no good purpose. I think it's just best to eradicate them. Charles probably has better wisdom in this area though.

What is a Whangdoodles true purpose?
Have you ever seen the movie Critters (1986)? I'd say that shows their purpose lol.

I am guessing that Whangdoodles are the ancestors of Cheez Doodles. If so, then they must be orange in color, with curved spines.
3. What do we DO with a Whangdoodle once we find one?
EAT IT!!! THE WHOLE DANG BAG OF THEM AT ONCE!!! UNTIL YOUR FINGERS AND TONGUE TURN ORANGE!!!

OH NO!!

I like to be open-minded to most of God's creatures (EXCEPT frogs and toads... Sorry Carrie! But I've had some traumatic experiences!)

BUT THIS IS MUCH WORSE than I thought. I mean, if they can shapeshift and look like humans... Uh oh.

(Next thread idea: "Which CC User Here Are REALLY Whangdoodles Posing as a People??!")

Forget bots -- Whangdoodles disguising themselves as Keyboard Warriors is the REAL danger!

Couldn't there possibly be a Whangdoodle tribe that might at least be SLIGHTLY friendly?! 😢

Uh oh.

@Lanolin -- notice that Carrie isn't OUTRIGHT saying that Whangdoodles eat giraffes...

But judging from this post (and we do A LOT of judging in these threads!) Carrie didn't specifically say that Whangdoodles DON'T eat giraffes, either.

Are you prepared to stand guard and protect your precious giraffes 24/7, just in case?! 😲

P.S. I don't why the system put a "strike through" line on Carrie's second quote... and unfortunately, it didn't let me untoggle it (I must be hitting the wrong buttons, per usual.)

Whangdoodle sounds like some kind of funky egg noodle. Perhaps they will be included in the ship's all you can eat buffet.

LOL!!

I think @passion84god and @tourist are on the right track.

When I first read the word "Whangdoodle," I immediately thought of Yankee Doodle Dandy:

Obviously, some Whangdoodles must be a type of pasta and/or bagged snack...

At first I thought they were like Wonka Bars or Snickerdoodles, which is like a cookie

But then Carrie Pie's description got me a bit worried.

Are they a cookie monster?
Or maybe a troll?

Or just a word the BGF made up?

I read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory AND Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator, and I only remember the Oompa Loompas, and the Vermicious Knids. I don't remember any Whangdoodles.

I will have to go back to the library and find the books again, the Originals, because Lord knows they have been edited to be Politically Correct, and maybe they've been erased. Like the word 'f*t" has been removed.

I don't remember the Vicar Of Nibbeswicke ever mentioning seldoodgnahw and he had dyslexia.

Uh oh.

If Whangdoodles really live here, I'm in a whole heap of trouble! 😲

You might as well just serve me up on a platter right now.

Who could resist a visit to such an amazing garden -- and an enchanted CASTLE??!!
