Yep, focus on pure and Holy.

Secular lust stories not welcomed here or anywhere in our born again life.

church circle has a lot of good Christian dating marriage stories. That's my focus.

Yeah, just stick a Christian label on it, problem fixed, as the oxymoron "Christian dating". Pfft, give me a break.

Sorry you don't have, nor you see any God ordained dating, marriage around you.

Yes, definitely give you a break.

Ciao.

Yep, just as I assumed, sticking a Christian label on it, and voila, God ordained! Somehow writing and reading romance is "secualr and lustful", while acting it out is "pure and holy"?

Using a dating app doesn´t mean that you´re willing giving your body and soul to anybody soon.

So theres no problem I guess.

It does mean giving your personal data and subscription fee to the tech overlord.

Back to op, many believers found their forever love ones on dating sites. I personally know quite a few.

If we see life as a journey, wherever God leading us, the intimate relationship with God makes the journey beautiful.

Even some have not find loved ones on dating site, instead they found good Christian friendship, i personally know some sisters become friends, pray together, sharing testimony together, encourage together, support together. Isn't it beautiful? Who says you have to find a spouse to be happy? Just the journey of looking and scenery is already magnificent!

God lead, we follow.

Thanks, I'm just avoiding futile goose chases. I assure you, I have adequate self-control, but I don't wanna control over another person, neither do I wanna be controlled by another person.

And "overcome the world"? Seriously? Have you ever heard of the expression "falling in love"? "My heart was stolen"? Doesn't sound like self control and taking heart to me, lol. Was Lord Jesus Satan by teaching us to pray, "lead us NOT into temptation, but deliver us from evil?"

Yup, Jesus has overcome the world! He said so Himself:

John 16:33 NLT — I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”

Other versions say "take courage" or "be of good cheer" instead of "take heart". But you get the point, right? Cheer up, buttercup! Jesus will help you with any trial He calls you to, even talking to a girl 😊.

Also, you keep insisting that you have plenty of self control and wouldn't have any trouble being alone with a female, then in the same post you say that spending time with a girl would be leading you into temptation. So which one is it? I respect your stance either way, but you can't claim both at the same time.

How about such "girl" only exists in your imagination? Yes I know I'll have many trials and sorrows, does that mean I have to actively seek them?

You seem like a decent caring person to me, so tell you what, lately I've written a few short stories on non-competitive love triangle, just a creative project for fun. If you're interested, I'll send you one, and I promise it's totally original, no AI slop. Unfortunately DM feature is not available on this site, so tell me in what other way may I contact you, like email or something.

Hi lovette, I appreciate the offer but I don't give out my email unless I've had a long and edifying history with the person. Although I do genuinely care about you, our interactions have been rather contentious. You have also called me a cyberstalker and outright dismissed basically everything I have said to you. So I don't think a private interaction is a good idea, but if you ever decide to post the story here publicly I will give it a read. 😎

She doesn't even exist in my imagination, I can't even picture a girl who would be a good fit for you 😅. Nevertheless, Jesus had a long private conversation with the woman at the well, and He also met Mary alone in the garden after His resurrection. I hope that you would be able to behave similarly if you are ever called to.

And no, you do not have to actively seek anything, that is between you and God.... literally NOBODY HERE is telling you to seek anything other than Christ, we are all happy for your singleness.

Alright, I understand. No worries, just asking.

Well, I wish you guys could be content with your own singleness, instead of not only being discontent, but also berating at me who is being content.

What on earth.... people here are generally VERY content with their singleness. What did someone say to make you think they are discontent? Quote their post please, so we know what you are referring to.

If you're truly content, why are you defending dating apps and today's broken dating culture in general? And why does it bother so much to you, a follower of Christ, bought with his precious blood?

Where the heck did I defend dating apps or today's broken dating culture? Quote the post(s) so we know what on earth you are talking about.

If you didn't, and you were truly content with singleness, why are you here and arguing with me?

Oooh I'm willing to speak for everyone on that question. Because you hold toxic and unbiblical views about relationships and marriage. If you are so content being single, why are you still here arguing with people about singleness? Methinks the gentleman doth protest too much.

I'm not going to let you squirm out of it that easily. You accused me of being discontent with singleness and promoting dating apps and "broken dating culture". So. Quote the post(s) where I did any of that.

If you can't then you are bearing false witness against your neighbor, which is a very serious offense.
