    It's being without Jesus Christ that leaves you empty.
    He said quite truly, "Without me you can do nothing."
    His disciples also knew, "I CAN DO all things through Christ which strengthens me."
    The sincere prayer at the end of this matters.

    We are body, soul and spirit. Our body gets sick, injured and requires healing/maintenance until we are resurrected with a newly created perfect one. The spirit is dead and needs to be born. Jesus said to a Jewish minister, "marvel not that you must be born again."
    He said this to a religious man who trusted in trying to be good to get to Heaven. That's what most pastors teach too. Jesus kept correcting them.

    Which goes back to my original post here and my question in general... If I can't stop sinning and cling to this mortal coil at the same time, shouldn't I just stop clinging, renounce pretty much everything except oxygen and water and just go meet my maker and my end in the wilderness like all my heroes. Even Jesus sets a clear example of having to be tempted in the desert before his ministry, eh?

    Its not like anyone needs me or cares I exist or I have any earthly value to anyone at all. Nor do I owe anyone but Jesus

    This is a link to a good therapist YouTube channel. He specializes in depression and helps one understand what they are going through and practical tips.
    I would click for notifications after subscribing. This won't substitute for one on one local help, but is worth the time.

    I think the last thing "spending too much time in a fantasy world" is what gets me... I was stupid and crazy enough to think that there might be more to life than just putzing around in a circle til it kills me, like Jesus might actually be real and present and care and that I actually matter or like my life has a point... hoping just ruined me for the debt slavery but I haven't found any alternatives.
