    Predestination is misunderstood...

Election is linked to service, never salvation.

    Predestination is misunderstood...

The word predestinated as stated in scripture, 4 times, has nothing to do with salvation. It has to do with those already saved and what God has in store for them in the future.

    Predestination is misunderstood...

According to this scripture, how does God know who are his? 2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Take my advice, do not study the words and theology of man, but the very words of God in the KJV.

    Predestination is misunderstood...

You posted verses along with other "stuff". Before God predestinates a man, He must first know him, thus, have foreknowledge. For God to know a man, he must first become a son of God. Galatians 4:6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying...

    Predestination is misunderstood...

Let's stick with scripture. The Lord knows who are his by his seal, the Holy Spirit that he has placed in those that believe. Ephesians 1: 12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel...

    Predestination is misunderstood...

Have you built an ark? Why not? Do you offer animal sacrifices? Why not? Have you gone to Nineveh to tell them in 40 days they will be overthrown? Why not? Should I go on? There are divisions within the OT and there are divisions within the NT. Applying doctrine not meant for the body of...

    Predestination is misunderstood...

You do know that all scripture does not have the same audience. Also, there are portions of scripture that have doctrine for the Jews that does not "harmonize" with the doctrine set forth for the church. The Jews are God's elect people, yet they are enemies of the gospel.

    The Error of KJV-Onlyism

The translators of the KJV were not infallible, neither were the writers of the originals. Yes, I think it is possible for God to have his words translated perfectly in the English language. Is anything to difficult for our Lord? Do you understand that there are translations within the...

    The Error of KJV-Onlyism

You do understand, this would make the person the final authority on what God has said. No thank you. I trust that God can and has preserved his words in the English language. God is able. Language is no barrier to God.

    Predestination is misunderstood...

The Bible gives us the answer. Ephesians 1: 12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of...

Nope, you gave one instance where Moses had the Holy Spirit, but even Moses was not sealed unto the day of redemption. He did not meet the NT requirements.

    Predestination is misunderstood...

Fortunately, the adoption is defined in scripture for us so we know immediately what it is. The adoption is the redemption of the body.

    Predestination is misunderstood...

I don’t see the word predestinated in the verse you stated. Plus, you left out the context in the previous verse. Those in Christ have been predestined to the future adoption, which is the redemption of the body.
