    Does anyone understand

I was saved in the spring of 1991. All of it God's doing, none of mine. Been 30 years on now. But, actually, this is off-topic. This thread is about Heb.12:22-24. Maybe you should start your own thread about this.

Me not so much fancy this "do you believe in Jesus?" "are you sure you believe in Jesus?" "are you sure you believe in Jesus just as much as me, mysel and IIIII do?". Competitions of that kind belongs to the kindergarten.

Is this an interrogation (or competition)? I have already given you a testimony in post #118. How about yourself?

    Visualization in Prayer

It's then the concept and term of visusalization that is the problem, not someone thinking of Jesus while praying.

In Christ Jesus I know all about it. And it's perfect! :)

I hope you can see the general problem of saying things like "Open up your eyes" and similar in a discussion and then not back up your own position with scripture. But we don't need to discuss calvinism here.

Got scripture for that? You say I should take it to Him, but what you have presented here is your own (or somebody else's) ideas, not from scripture, so I can only take it to you. I know the truth already, thank you.

    Are WOMEN Pastors Biblical??

    Have a good one, mate.

But He also do not beg to sinners to "come to Him", indeed they cannot do so before they are new creatures in Christ. And you're wrong about this free choice. Maybe that's as far as you can tell, but it's not in scripture (read in context).

    Are WOMEN Pastors Biblical??

So, no Bible translation that renders any verse dealing with Phoebe as being a bishop? Btw, who taught you that Phoebe was a bishop?

    Are WOMEN Pastors Biblical??

But is that an answer to if any translation render any verse regarding Phoebe as being bishop? That Paul commended Phoebe as a deaconess I rest well with.

    Are WOMEN Pastors Biblical??

What do you say about this idea that Phoebe was a bishop? To me it's doodle. Never heard of such before.

    Are WOMEN Pastors Biblical??

But you said Phoebe was a "bishop", didn't you? If so, got any translation rendering it that way? I am well with that Phoebe was a deaconess. Other than that I have not heard.

    Are WOMEN Pastors Biblical??

You seem not to be a woman of your word. In post #1063 you replied me thus: And yet you continue to address me, even about a post which was not directed to you. It's called Passover, by the way. And I enjoy it! You will now be added to my growing ignore list.

    Not By Works

Sounds familiar to me. I can relate to that from other forums, you mention words such as "law" and "obey" and soon you have a bunch of "lovey-doveys" throwing rocks at you. So much for that "tolerance and understanding" they like to talk about. Anyways, serious discussions are edifying whilst...

    Not By Works

I read this thread with interest, there is currently a good tone here and some patience among those debating. Far from what I've encountered in other threads (and also in this thread earlier). Was I a mod I would use the broom often.
