Is the Vaccine the Mark of the Beast (MOTB)?

Usually if a post is more than about a dozen lines, I don't read it. As to vaccines being the mark of the Beast, there are hundreds of other things that could be.

Once saved always saved (OSAS) debunked

And so we go on our merry way, judging one another.

    Bible "versions"?

Thinking about that issue, I wonder if that admonition belongs solely to the Book of Revelation? Almost every version of the NT Bible is a translation of the first languages it was written in whether that be Greek, Aramaic, or something else. What became the Catholic Church was totally in...

    Bible "versions"?

For me, the KJV is the one with all the sticky notes and ink underlines in it. I'm very conscious of its faults and have studied many of them.

Once saved always saved (OSAS) debunked

Thank you. I must warn you that I am very different in ways that some find repulsive, so I won't be sharing that here. I do not engage in any sort of sexual sin, and do my best to be helpful to others. I will read what you ask.

    Obedient Woman

For me, Genesis 3:16 is key.

    Obedient Woman

Sadly, from my own experience, men see that as a reason to see women as inferior and to be abused.

    Obedient Woman

No. I see it more as a story about Arab life. In Saudi Arabia, there were Jews, and early Christians. Early Islam happened in Western Arabia. If one studies, you will see elements of Judaism and Christianity in it. About one Quarter of the Koran is about Jesus and Mary. The reason that they...

Once saved always saved (OSAS) debunked

This is just my opinion, and I am not a graduate of any clergy institution. The Bible is not such a large book. I was not raised with any religion, and my upbringing left me extremely angry. I still look back and wonder why I did not murder or go to prison, though I have no criminal record...

Once saved always saved (OSAS) debunked

If that works for you, fine. Personally, I am doubtful about Paul.

    Obedient Woman

I see obedience demanded in a woman throughout the Bible. It is in the Qur'an Surah 4:34. Do these works call for absolute obedience, or is there a burden on the male also to not be overbearing and mean?

Who/what is Satan? (Book of Job)

Out of curiosity, I just bought the Books of Enoch. After reading Job I lost everything. What a painful lesson.

Once saved always saved (OSAS) debunked

I have a suspicion that Jesus came to instruct the disobedient Jews. Remember, Islam would not start for another 700 years. I think that Paul in the book of Acts took things in a direction that Jesus had not intended. For me, the rest of the NT is questionable until we get to the Book of...

Once saved always saved (OSAS) debunked

I am not a religious hard liner, having studied both Christianity, Islam and Judaism. Those who rely solely on a Pastor for their instruction are deluding themselves. I have known Pastors who were warned in their schooling not to preach on certain subjects because that will empty the Pews.

    Divorce..

We can't know all the ways of God. I don't agree that babies that die go to hell.

Once saved always saved (OSAS) debunked

I've seen it used too much to go to Church on Sunday, and drink and abuse others the rest of the week. I experienced that as a child. For me, once we are saved we must pray, study and work hard to change our lives to become more pleasing to God. And yes, it means a changed life for the rest of...

History From An Arab Point of View

Being from America, I was not aware how one sided and conceited American History is. In my seven years of deep emersion in Arab Muslim Culture, I learned that they have their own take on history.

Once saved always saved (OSAS) debunked

The idea "once saved, always saved" is nauseatingly repulsive to me. I've seen too much. For those who find that acceptable, I wish you well.

    Divorce..

I'm of the opinion that man has little idea what the desires of God are. Man is driven by biological drives that we do not seem to have much control over. We try to use the prohibitions of religion to guide us and often fail. We blame "sin nature" or a dozen other things. It seems cruel that...

    Divorce..

Between Matt 19:12 and Isa. 56:4-5, I am greatly comforted. It gives me permission to live, and only a life pleasing to God. For me, it is clear that Marriage is not an option for me.
