Was Peter a member of the Body of Christ

Why would anyone even ask such questions in the light of what is clearly revealed in the New Testament? If Peter was not included in the Body of Christ, then no one was.

The sign of Jonas, three days and three nights

Hell is GEHENNA and it is called "hell" in the KJV. And Gehenna is the Lake of Fire. MARK 9 42 And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea. 43 And if thy hand offend...

    Half-truths and false doctrine.

That is a lie. It does exist, but perhaps not as you imagine. You might want to study the Bible more carefully before proceeding any further.

    An obvious contradiction?

While the Greek word ἀπολύω literally means to set free or release, in the context of marriage it means divorce. Strong's Concordance apoluó: to set free, release Original Word: ἀπολύω Part of Speech: Verb Transliteration: apoluó Phonetic Spelling: (ap-ol-oo'-o) Definition: to set free, release...

The sign of Jonas, three days and three nights

Since when? If you do not know the difference between Hades and the Lake of Fire, kindly take some time to study the subject.

The sign of Jonas, three days and three nights

If the video is consistent with the Bible, then it will speak of Sheol/Hades as the place of departed spirits. Sorry, I do not watch posted videos.

The sign of Jonas, three days and three nights

Not "hell". Hades is not Hell. Sheol in the OT is Hades in the NT.

The sign of Jonas, three days and three nights

Sheol/Hades is the region of departed souls and spirits. It is in the heart of the earth, or the lower parts of the earth, or the nether regions, or near the core of the earth. Unfortunately the King James translators did not transliterate Sheol and Hades, and thus caused a lot of confusion.

“Celestial Marriage” and other unorthodox Mormon beliefs

There can be no doubt that there is a huge divide between Bible Christianity and Mormonism. Indeed the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints is regarded as a cult (https://www.cultwatch.com/mormon.html) Orson Pratt was a leading Mormon theologian who was a part of the original “Quorum...

    Genesis 6:1-2 Revisited. Unredeemable

I don't believe anyone has said anything about the redemption of evil angels or the Nephilim. Those evil angels are locked up in Tartarus. The Nephilim were all evil.

Is the born-again person the “wind” in John 3:8?

Not really. What Jesus was saying is that just like the wind is invisible yet its sound can be heard, the Holy Spirit is invisible yet His impact can be felt, Similarly he New Birth is invisible, but its impact can also be felt in the life of that person. No one knows where the wind comes from...

    Belt of Truth

Truth is God's revelation. And the belt of truth would include a TRUE BIBLE. Not a modern counterfeit like the NIV.

Saw this and wanted to share on how we got where we are

Once we understand that the business of government is (1) NOT to offer investment instruments such as bonds, (2) NOT to incur public debt, (3) NOT to issue worthless paper currency, and (4) not to tax people to death, we would see that there are many other investment options available to...

    Avoiding The Christmas Spirit

Scrooge was an unconverted man. Read the book.

    An obvious contradiction?

Well the fact remains that none of the OT saints were called "sons of God". That term in the OT applied only to angels. So your reference to Genesis 6 is really to fallen angels who had intercourse with human women. And because this was unacceptable to God, they are called "the angels which kept...

    An obvious contradiction?

But polygamy is illegal in the USA. So you would recommend that this person move to Saudi Arabia. The Mormons practiced polygamy, then outlawed it. But recently some Utah legislators wish to make it legal again. Some of the Old Testament patriarchs did have several wives, but the New...

    An obvious contradiction?

That is not the way that the words of Christ should be interpreted. Moses only wrote down what he received from God. He did not insert his own ideas into the Torah, and every word in the Torah is a word of God. So we have to go all the way back to chapter 4:1,2 in Deuteronomy to see that what...

Saw this and wanted to share on how we got where we are

Abandoning the Gold Standard was a deliberate act of sabotage to destroy America and the West. And the Federal Reserve is neither "federal" nor a "reserve" of gold sufficient to cover every printed dollar. These policies made all the citizens of the Western world beholden to a handful of very...

    Avoiding The Christmas Spirit

Well you could do the opposite by doing something good for the needy and the miserable on Christmas Day. That's what Scrooge ended up doing. Read The Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens.

Is the born-again person the “wind” in John 3:8?

No. That is a reference to the invisible Holy Spirit.
