This is a simple challenge that I imagine most here will fail.

I know several people here fancy themselves to be writers, but this is not about your verbose tendencies.

The Challenge:
In a few simple, short sentences, I say that not many people here would be able to list three things good about the opposite political party, AND three things bad about their own party.

But the challenge doesn't end there.

I also say that few people here will be able to leave it at that, without adding a bunch of extraneous garbage that pretty much "counters" and nullifies their initial statements (If they were able to get those six short statements written in the first place.)

The second part just may well be the harder of the two.

Here goes! Lol
1. My party is full of career politicians that have special interests.
2. My party has been lax for years and lost trust ofthe American people.
3. My party has stood in the way of true progress and growth for this once great country and has let political correctness take reign. The OneTrue God has been pushed to the background of this great nation which was founded on Him.
OK Willy T...For the other party see 1,2,3 above... I'm adding a 4. The other party is deeply rooted in NWO and ringing it about. Right now they are out of their minds trying to figure out how they get back on top of things again. They almost had us all where they want us! 'nuff said

Democrat pro
They started out being for the people. They sometimes do make sense.

Republican/Conservative cons
A lot of hard headed people are in there. Often they are only about their own interests.

Although technically I am registered GOP, I vote entirely on party platform.

If the party was going to honestly stick with what their stated platform is then I can't think of a position I'm against them on, save some of this gov. spying on citizens intrusion stuff and stop and frisk, which I don't understand how that can be constitutional.

I literally can't think of a single platform issue that I agree with the democrats on.

Pretty good job. The way it's looking, you might end up winning this challenge.

Willy T...I have failed...I didn't say 3 nice things about the oppos ing party...So here goes...
1. They are relentless when it comes to reaching their goals and will stop at nothing.
2. They stand to back just about everything.
3. Their agenda is all about doing something for the non-elite.
Just st because these sound nice doesn't mean it's good.

This is terribly easy, Willie. Let me see, three bad things about my party. Well, they probably are too pro-business. Well, there’s one. As for the other party, which I won’t mention, they might have a greater concern for the needy. Well, I tried.

As for the adding a lot of extra garbage, I’m pretty good at keeping my posts short and sweet, aren’t I?

I can say three BAD things about both parties. On second thought, I can say countless bad things about both parties. I'm gonna shut up now.

I think that point will become key in this kind of discussion. As the old saying goes, "All that glitters is not gold."

Three nice things about Democrats:
(1) They are usually very adept at energizing younger voters.
(2) They believe they are really helping people.
(3) They do not believe in the death penalty.

Three bad things about Republicans
(1) They believe in the death penalty.
(2) Business concerns trump environmental concerns often.
(3) Many times, they do not listen to their socially conservative constituents (ie, McCain and Romney presidential candidates- both moderate Republicans) which comprise a bigger slice of the Republican party than they think.

The second part probably is harder. For two reasons. One is that due to a number of reasons, that is how most people roll.
Two, that probably goes double for people who frequently participate on chat boards.

I am not a member of any political party. I am conservative I guess that is close to being a republican.
So now y'all know wher I am coming from.
Here are three things that I believe are good about the democrats or liberals chose your title.
1 They support those they believe are on the short end of the stick.
2 They are willing to accept a small victory and build on that .
3 They are fellow human beings they get hurt ,bleed ,laugh,or cry just like me just with different opinions.
well that part is done .
Now to what I believe the conservatives have wrong .
1 They recently have developed a love for circular firing squads.
2 Only a total victory is acceptable anything less is tossed out.
3 That if someone disagrees with me in my political party they must be a R.I.N.O
Thats it for now it's only a short bullet list. I could get more in depth but I think y'all get my drift.
Blessings
Bill

The GOP are sell outs.
The GOP are too lax about the environment.
The GOP buckle for fear of being labeled some type of "ist".

Democrats help ease the destruction of the environment.
Thats the only compliment I can give Democrats
.

This is not an insult but a word of heartfelt sincerity. Democrats have a few good intentions but I did not list them because they go overboard with their agendas and don't know when to stop. Case in point: I support law enforcement but despise police brutality with ever fiber of my being. Democrats were the voice for victims of police brutality but they took their stance light years too far, and now we have good cops being murdered by renegade thugs who feel empowered by the Democratic Party.

My party made a big mistake in the last election, by assuming that Harper didn't need to interact with people and reporters, and that the glam of Trudeau was all a sham. (Ok, I'm a poet and I know it!)

My party seems to have made the mistake of taking 2 years to elect the next Conservative leader. They are losing lots of momentum.

My party should have been using social media like Trudeau. Who needs issues in an election, when you can kiss babies or post on Twitter?

The Liberal party of Canada is good because.... ???

The Liberal party of Canada is positive because.....???

The Liberal party of Canada thinks it represents Canadian values but I would not agree with that because....?? I could write a lot on this third one, but I think I may have lost the purpose of the thread, on these last three! LOL

(Apologies to the OP!)

Them: Willing to fight against dictators and regimes, although with as little fire power as possible.
Us: Willing to go whole-hog for war, but quits too soon!

Them: Always worry about people struggling.
US: Always worry about CEO's struggling.

Them: Thinks people are naturally good, but likes to regulate everything.
US: Thinks man is naturally evil, but likes to set them free from regulations.
