In (Gen 6:4) the scriptures tell us that there were giants on the earth in those days, and after that. Without wildly speculating, where did this giants come from? Why is there a distinction made between men (Adam) that multiplied on the earth in (v.1) and these giants (nephil) or these men (enowsh) of renown, who were mighty men (gibbowr)? These sons of God came unto the daughters of men (Adam). The way this verse is written it communicates something out of the ordinary manner of sons and daughters that man begat.
4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
Do we now switch our focus on man now being called the 'sons of God', when Adam alone had that title? Adam was the son of God but Seth, who was born of Adam, was the son of Adam made in his own likeness and after his image (Gen 5:3, Lk 3:38). There is only (5) references in the OT scriptures that mention the 'sons of God', (3) in Job...1:6, 2:1, 38:7, which we have sufficient evidence to refer to them (plural) as masculine angels created by God individually and as a host, who were with God from the foundation of the earth. The other (2) are found in Gen... 6:2,4. Do we make a distinction and separate the 'sons of God' in Genesis from the 'sons of God' mentioned in Job? Remember, the only man in the OT scriptures that is referred to as, 'son of God' is Adam. In (Dan 3:25) we have king seeing the fourth man in the furnace that had the form of the 'Son of God'. This is singular and is referring to Christ.
Again I ask. Where and from whom did the giants come from?
