Hom,, I realize that you love to talk about the flesh/spirit.

Homward,,, does your flesh get hungry? When it does,, you don't deny it,, do you?
Homward,, are you married. Are you sexually active? Is Jesus on the forefront of your mind when you are engaged in sexual intercourse?
I love my flesh. I take care of my flesh body. I feed it, I work it, I rest it,, I have sex with it!
Jesus is not on my mind when I am having sex. The FLESH is on my mind!!!!! Lust is on my mind!!!!!!
If there was no lust, I would have no interest in my wife!!! Thus,, I would be childless. (and have more cash)
I say these things,, because it seems to me that you have gone completely overboard with this flesh/spirit talk. At least, that's my opinion..

If I claim I am keeping it spiritually,,, and head off to work on the 7th day,, I am a liar.
What part of that is difficult to understand?
Once more, there are many sabbaths, but there is only one Seventh Day Sabbath of Yahweh. I believe a lot of people should study just what sabbaths were in the Old Testament and the vavious designations for a sabbath. Any day of the week may be part of one of Yahweh's feasts to be designated as a sabbath, but there is only one Seventh Day Sabbath of the Lord. There is nowhere any writing commanding that day to be changed, and Yahweh forbid it be changed since it represents much more than the order of days of the week.

Well if I'm not getting it wrong, homwardbound, that Jesus is our eternal rest (shalom) and that he fulfilled the sabbath of everyday in our lives. I truly believe that and that we should keep the sabbath on a day, but putting the "MUST" be the 7th day isn't in the bible. The moral and gift of the sabbath is for man to rest, not be caught up in lawness. It's legalistic to judge another by the law if one follows it the manner of trying to gain salvation.
Life everlasting is! there is no better gift than restored life everlasting, and when one receives this from God one is freed and at rest forever. This is God's Sabbath rest for all that come to believe God, it is Spiritual not carnal. It was Carnal all through the old testament, God wanting us to see and many did such as Abraham, Noah, Job, all saw past the physical plain
Yes it is good and well for flesh to rest and is healthy one day a week.
Let us see and God said to Adam the ground you are to till is cursed for you, because of what you did.
Hmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! could this be showing Adam that he needs God and all mankind does too! Remember this knowledge of good and evil that they became aware of, was and is flesh, they died in the Spirit of God that day, given back to us through Christ's resurrection.
We have before the cross and after, and I know which side I am on, that is after the cross in a new Covenant, under a new Priesthood, and under two laws, the laws of Love, walking in the Spirit of Christ and God the Father
So flesh was put out to till the ground and be stressed out, needing God to be alive in them and through them as is what is restored through the cross today, to be born again of the spirit of God by the resurrected Christ

Like I said Sunday has been used as the Sabbath since the apostles era. When the apostles, let's use Paul because he is mentioned in scriptures, when he taught Jews and Gentiles, he knew he would get their attention on the sabbath, people gathered together on that day. How do you think the apostle commemorated or kept the actual sabbath? Sunday was their rest from the teaching. Sunday as sabbath no where in the bible says it's a false day to worship. And not a single scripture revokes, rejects, or denies a believer considering another day as sabbath. Show me one verse out says God judges those who don't keep the seventh day?
Lawness is nothing more than lawlessness, for not one can obey the Law perfectly and if we are to follow one we are to follow all perfectly, and if we fail in one we fail in all, No other way to slice, dice or cube this truth
Under the law under a curse, not because of the Mosaic Law because of flesh, which is weak and can't perform it.
Only God's Spirit can and we are called to be born again by the cross the resurrection of Christ to perform not Mosaic Law, rather the two laws of Love God's type in 1cor. 13:4-13, Not condemning anyone, loving all whether they believe or not, as God did at the cross with God's Son Christ. Thank you, you have said it. It is spiritual and not carnal. The seventh day rest is quite carnal, rest from the six days we must labor, yet that day given to us as a rest from the material days is to be kept separate with our Father. It is a gift not just a commandment. Note in the following Holy Scripture that keeping the commandments of God and the Faith of Jesus are two distinct thoughts:

Paul plainly says that the carnal (means fleshly) is NOT subject to the Law of God, indeed it cannot be. The converse is the Spiritual mind CAN BE subject to the Law of God...

There is no sin in Christ and all sin through Christ ahs been condemned to flesh, and it is up to us to agree with God and consider one self dead to flesh by Christ, Christ's death is our death to flesh. Christ's life in the Spirit is our life in the new life dead to flesh alive to God
God is Omni-potent and Omni-present, no one can leave God out of anything they do.
No matter where you go since you claim salvation God has then taken up residence with you and goes wherever you in thought or deed.
And by the Mercy of God, God took away the sin through the death, for us to comer to our own self death and be alive in the Spirit of God continuously, where no sin can ever occur

Homward,, I understand the battle between flesh/spirit..
But not all activity for the flesh is sinful. Having children in marriage is not sinful.
We are to war with our flesh concerning sinful practices and desires.
Feeding your flesh a healthy diet is not sinful.
being a doctor and repairing flesh is not a sinful occupation.
I love my flesh. it is me!
If God hated our flesh as bad as you seem to think,, He would have never made us flesh and bones.
