I think you're full of shiite... I'll be nice and leave it there. I feel for folks like you. You have nothing to offer but a closed room full of condemnation. You are the kind that makes people walk away and never come back. "Hell" as you put it, might be a respite compared to whatever it is that you have to offer.

Sonjudgement is sure living up to his name. I imagine that most pastors have heardof and affirm the A. Creed. I've been around church long enough to know that most churches (even those which regularly recite the creeds) rarely mention or use that creed. Most people in the pews don't remember it exists and most people if asked to explain the trinity invariably end up explaining something more like modalism or partialism.

Maybe some day I'll go back and read the original early church arguments to understand the history of how that particular doctrine came about. And while I'll honor the historicity enough to say that this issue of the doctrine of the trinity is an issue of sound doctrine, I'm not willing to say that having the exactly correct understanding of it is a salvation issue. This doctrine took a few hundred years to hammer out as all these good jews (and later gentiles) tried to figure out how "the lord our god is one god" fit with the messiah showing up and acting like he was god, and saying things like "the father and I are one" which implies some sort of separate entity that you can't completely separate.

So I look more at people's actions and character to determine if I can see evidence of Christ's working in them.

Passive aggressive isn't nice just so you know. They can't walk away if they're already in outer darkness. God is not tempted at all, and he doesn't play rrespecter of persons. If you deny the Athanasian Creed you deny the whole religion of Christianity, the whole Bible, you deny God, the Gospel, and all the saints that ever lived. Not smart to do that literally God will throw them in hellfire for it and you're supposed to warn them and tell them truth no matter the cost to you.

And you'll see me doing the same thing with the female friends I've met in person here, too.

I suppose you're going to now say that I am also "overtly flirting" with @RodB651 as well -- but again, that's all your own opinion that you are forming and publicly speaking -- all without knowing anything about any of us.

Yea he tried to strain for that gnat trying to lie about the meaning of the word catholic and conflate it with teh RCC, cliche attempt by heretical cults is so cliche. They strain for that gnat, but they'll swallow that whole camel, praise Jesus.

I've met, well one person on this forum in person and the only reason I haven't met more is because I live so far away, and in another country from a lot of people on here. And it's very expensive to travel, at least, it is for me.
This isn't to say I haven't visited a lot of countries, I actually have been around the world. You can do that now, fly around the world.
It makes you a bit dizzy, but it's doable. And in less than 80 days now.

Maybe the guy @SonJudgment (who can't spell judgement) just got the wrong impression of you, Lynx and Seoul or was joking.
I mean I've done that a few times, and you've forgiven me (I hope). A date can mean different things to different people.
Obvs I was teasing, but maybe you didn't catch that.

I am not new here, but I sort of know people, even if I hadn't met them in person. Well I think I know them. I don't PM people on this forum because I've encountered a lot of spammers unfortunately and I don't entirely trust EVERYONE is telling the truth. But that's just me.

I have def chatted and emailed people I haven't met before and was fine. I kind of know if someone is genuine or not or just being disingenuous and somewhat deluded. But discernment can be a tricky thing online and lots of people get fooled, but that happens in person as well so what's new.

My point being that someone can affirm jesus is fully god and fully man (which is a salvation issue, can't properly follow Jesus if you get who he is wrong) and be mistaken about exactly how that whole 3 but 1 but 3 thing with the nature of the persons of the godhead works (like any of us completely understand it fully). So while I think questions about a person's understanding of the trinity are totally appropriate for a pastoral candidate, I know most people in the pews dont really understand how that works.

But if it makes you feel better, yes I'm confident that Lynx is a true believer and follower of Christ.

Just out of curiosity, the roman catholic church would also say that the word catholic in the creeds refers to the rcc. It's only all those post reformstion churches that broke from the rcc that came up with the explanation that catholic doesn't mean rcc. So would you consider the rcc a cult since they also say that carhic means rcc?
