I wouldn't have expected anything less from you, Susie-anna!

But out of respect for this site, I will try to keep things as respectful as possible.

(I hope it's ok if I jokingly call you Susie-anna once in a while. I started that because of your telling us you were a pacifist in the Pillow Fighting Thread, and I was like, "Oh sure, tell us another one, Pollyanna!" :D)

But of course, in this case, it's Susie-anna instead. :p
Fine by me (breathing through my teeth while pondering how to find a comeback for this inferior changing of my name).😁

Gonna see my Susie-Anna
Singing polly wally doodle all day

ARGH.

No matter how many times I try to proofread, I ALWAYS miss something.

I KNOW there is a mistake in the poll -- I originally split "Cream Filled" and "Jelly Filled" into 2 different poll answers and forgot to replace the second "Jelly Filled" when combining them.

Those who are used to my threads/polls know there is going to be at least 1 (or 20) typos in them, so I hope this won't distract from the fun!

Come back to the thread and tell us all about any answers that you don't see on the poll! :D
Tell me about it! (missing something in proof-read)

One of the things I tend to miss is kind of the worst thing... which is the "not" or "n't", negatives or opposites. So, the error has me saying the opposite of what I mean. That sort of thing doesn't come up in spell check. It kind of highlights why proof-reading yourself is never really good enough, because your brain is just going down it's same neural pathways when you wrote it the first time.

My favorite donut is a fresh plain donut right out of the fryer!

Otherwise, I tend to go for something not so sweet: fruit preserves, nuts, bear claw, coconut, chocolate.

Just one glazed donut with coffee...
I chart on the fancy side of plain Jane, and I donut-hole-heartedly agree with you. That is, up until the ellipsis, period. I mean, I have no idea where the dot-dot-dot is going.

Paczki. It's a Polish jam-filled doughnut made with a very rich, eggy dough. My life will never be the same.

WHAT is your favorite kind of donut, and why? For intance, do you like a raised (yeast) or cake donut, and in what flavors?

Why, you ask? Real fruit (= it is good for you!!!)! Made with yeast, so a nice heavy/moist doughy doughnut! With cinnamon!!! .:D

Of all the food temptations in this world, I do limit myself to just one donut.

The dots are just where I sigh deeply or something like that.

To make an adjustment with my agreement, I'd have to say, just one glazed donut with (each cup of) coffee....
but at least two with a glass of milk, unless they are anything other glazed, i.e. jelly or cream filled, iced, powdered, sprinkled, etc. etc. etc... :p I'd probably have at least two jelly filled donuts too...

And if you're in Savannah, Tennessee, stop by the donut shop across from McDonald's. They're all good, but the apple fritters are curiously much better than your standard donut shop fritter.

@Lynx can you send me one of those apple fritters?

Sorry pink donut with sprinkles, but you might've just been replaced!
OH! Lynx, do they have pink donuts wih sprinkles? Could you throw one of those in too? You know, just so I can compare.
