There's not an option for abortion is ok in all circumstances. I don't agree with it and suspect it would be minority. But it should be an option.

What do you guys think about the Morning After pill?

Regardless of the circumstance...God has allowed that baby to begin to form in the womb...who are we to destroy what God has created? And we would have the opportunity to raise the child up in the Lord.
Birth control and morning after pill are used for us to take control rather than putting it in His hands. If we are trusting God to use our life and He knows what we can handle ...then what's the point in taking that pill. God opens and closes wombs...as in His Word. Even in a mistake...if God allows that child...then we have to trust that there's a purpose for it.

I think abortion is wrong and I believe that best prevention of pregnancy is no sex. In terms of married couples, I can understand that you may not want more children but I truly think children are a gift rom God and so I son't think it should be used.

It's easy to say "don't blame the baby for the crimes of the rapist" until it's happened to you or someone you love. My oldest sister was raped and beaten to within an inch of her life eight years ago by a man she once considered her friend. She was only 18 and she got pregnant and she made the choice to keep the baby. Her fiance (later that year, husband) agreed because it was her decision. But we would have totally sympathized with her if she decided to abort the pregnancy. However, what came out of this traumatic event for our family was a beautiful little girl. My sister bore a daughter, my little niece who I love more than anything and you know what, she and her husband had another little girl two years later. As for the rapist, that scumbag got 35 years for rape and attempted murder. He nearly killed my sister, he raped her with no remorse, and now he's getting what he deserves. And I hope one day he'll get to see the beautiful result of his crime the God granted my sister. This beautiful angel of a little girl who will never acknowledge him as her father. He's going to be locked away for decades and when they finally release him (that is if he survives prison), he'll be branded a sex offender until the day he dies. She only visited him at the prison one time and that was in 2010. My sister looked that man dead in the eye through that glass and told him that she forgives him and loves him as a good Christian woman. Now I'm only telling you this because my sister speaks to rape victims and encourages them not to abort. I can only hope he finds Christ in prison because I know I can't forgive him for what he's done but I suppose I should because if he hadn't I wouldn't have my older niece.

Here's what I think: Abortion thing.... It depends on the situation: Like I would have a aboration if I got pregnant, cause I take repsonbily, but if some thug mugs me, and rapes me, and I get pregnant.... then that's a good reason to have a aboration: cause Im not going to be repsonilty to carry someone's baby who raped me..... And I wouldn't feel gulity, cause It was a thug.... Actually, genetically speaking it would be partially your baby. Did you know, that you as a child are gentically about 50% of your mother and about 50% of your father?

In the case of a rape, the same is true: The baby is 50% mom and 50% thug rapist genetically speaking...

..... And I wouldn't feel gulity, cause It was a thug....

So, the thug does something wrong to you and then you punish the baby? Why is it that it is wrong for the thug to harm you, but it is okay for you to harm the child? What about the fact that the child was sired by a thug makes the child somehow less human? What about that makes it permissible to kill a child?

Yes, in a humanistic sense this is true. Fornication is still a sin though, whether you've got a liner or a ring.

I'll take your word for it, and I hope that were I to be in that situation that I would obey God concerning this matter rather than seeking that which is convenient.

Too often we fall in to a thinking of....that rapist/murderer got what he deserved...which could be death or life in a cell. Where is the love and concern for someone's soul? No matter what a person does, don't they deserve the right to know the Lord as much or more than we do? We are all sinners and should be regarding someone higher than ourselves...thats what His love is. Making ourselves a lowly servant, as Christ did, that someone may see the Truth. Paul murdered so many christians who were preaching the True Gospel, yet look at how used by God he was after that. True forgiveness in our heart, is the only way we can hear from the Lord...if we don't forgive then we definitely don't deserve forgiveness for our own sin.

Well, no, there is no "right". It's a privaledge, not something God owes us.

Paul murdered so many christians who were preaching the True Gospel, yet look at how used by God he was after that. [snip]...if we don't forgive then we definitely don't deserve forgiveness for our own sin.

I for one believe that abortion is just like killing(thou shall not kill.hence its commiting a sin.I think its wrong.life begins after fertilisation Now concerning the contraceptive issue,I think that its wrong in the case whereby a fertilised egg is terminated,removed or stopped to be implanted in the uterus ,reason being that life starts after fertilisation.Also i dont see it to be wrong in a space whereby fertilisation is prevented at first eg using condoms not loops or those other contrceptive methods.But I can only advice this(condoms) to a married couple in which one partner has sti's.If you dont want children abstain because with sex you know the consequences,if you are not ready for them then dont do it wheather married or not.

As a Medical professional I disagree. preventing conception is not killing.

That said the two can both be sins although not the same thing. I know without a doubt abortion is sins and non-justifiable sin at that. No exceptions

That's scary, a woman in Ireland died because the hospital denied her an abortion while she was miscarrying , if the baby is dying and the mother could be saved why not save her? Why let them both die?

unfortunately many of us don't realise that abortion is indeed murder, it has become a national sin because we have not taken the appropriate stand against it, God have mercy on us, the bible has alot to say about the state of an unborn baby before it's birth, how God knew it before it was born and weaved it.

This is happening because of a turning our backs from God's word and now we tolerate such things that God heavily rebukes.

P.S i sympathise with all woman who have been abused, raped and not all woman who get an abortion shrug it off some are torn within their soul for a lifetime, abortion is not alright according to the word of God.

I believe abortion is 100% the woman's choice and none of anyone else's business. Birth control I think is okay whether you are married or not. There are so many variety of reasons for getting birth control.

100% agree.... I think the doctors should do everything he can to save the mother. I would go as far as to say if a doctor (unless the mother requested it) didn't save the mother he wouldn't be fulfilling his hippocratic oath.
