Are Abortion or Birth controll ok or wrong

  • Abortion is wrong in all cases

Another aspect I think is that God has a plan for each person.. So God has a plan for that child.. to use that child to bring forth His Kingdom. So whether He will choose sin or not I think it's preferable that the child comes into the world so it has a chance to live out God's purpose.. What if the child is meant to preach the Gospel and guide hordes of sheep into the Kingdom?

you have a point. it's just. the majority of humans don't choose righteousness. and the number of us that are already in hell is grievous to me...so i dunno. if i feel like the chances are greater that someone won't choose God... i'd rather... well maybe i don't believe in that choice
 
It should be just for emergency medical purposes, like if the fetus is infected with something, or something goes horribly wrong with the pregnancy.

Other than that, it's pretty messed up.

But humans did this to ourselves; no one should complain about unexpected pregnancy, because the logic there makes absolutely no sense. You mean to tell me, you got on birth control to sleep around with several different people, ( guy or girl,) and then are surprised when someone gets pregnant? What you don't believe in waiting for marriage because you have no self control and your lust just overtakes your body and mind?

Just in case you didn't know, sex's function is reproduction. Shocking right? So whenever you lay down with someone else, this is the obvious reality you can put yourself into.

Aborition isn't the problem; it's this generation's messed up mentality.

Not everyone on birth control sleeps around with a bunch of people; and a lot of people get pregnant when they are in a relationship with just one person.

"no one should complain about un expected pregnancy" because all unexpected pregnancies are outside of marriage and due to consensual sex..

You do realize that many ladies get on birth control are in monogamous long term relationships right? some are even married :O
Sex is also for pleasure, shocking but there are parts of your lady bits that serve no other purpose than providing a woman with sexual pleasure.

I think that's the reason too. We are spiritually dead inside (this generation of the general population), we are simply carnal and selfish.

Even if a married couple on birth control accidentally gets pregnant, it's not a reason to abort the child, just cos it was unplanned. At the end of the day you either believe that it is a human life or not.. and if it is a human life, we don't have the right to take it.

It's nothing special to our generation. I know it's popular for everyone to imagine 'the good ol' days', but frankly this country and this civilization has been carnal and bent on heathen idolatry and heresy for centuries. The West - which I am an adopted daughter of - invented the very notion of liberalism. The West created, bred and spread humanism by force in political and religious spheres.

There was no Great American Century or Biblical Christendom; but rather a sham Christendom and a fixation with political orders not only by men generally but by the church as well.
 
When something like this comes up I think of the statistics. Most abortions are done as a form of birth control. If you live in any city ; visit a clinic . There you will see young teenagers with their boyfriends lined up around the block . Waiting rooms full of teens wanting to get a abortion .The women does it to to keep her man happy,an not deal, with the responsibilities of a child.The man allows it so he doesn't have to pay child support or have any of the responsibilities that come after having a young child. It's sad.

I remember How Michael the arch angel went to Mary and told her that she would be the mother of the Saviour of the world.

And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Juda;

And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth.

And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit:

And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.

And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?

For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.

A lot of girls have already done this And I'm sorry you went through those things. But for anyone playing with the idea, your playing with some one ells life also. I would think before you act.
 
I KNOW YOUR YOUNG, AND GOOD ADVICE IS DON'T LISTEN TO TEENS TO AGREE TO PEER PRESSURE. IT IS WRONGE AND A PERSON COULD GIVE A CHILD TO A FAMILY TO LOVE INSTEAD OF TO THE DUMPSTER, BIRTH CONTROL DOSN'T PROTECT FROM STDS. 90 PERCENT OF THE TIME. PLEASE LISTEN TO THE LORD INSTEAD OF TALK.
 
I think it's interesting that in America, you can be fined up to $250,000 for killing an eagle/eagle egg. Apparently American cares more about eagles than humans.

An by "interesting" I mean "disgusting".
 
What if its not about spirituality... The loss of Christianity is not causal, its not even heavily correlated. I agree that instead of arguing about abortion how about we teach our children about sexuality/safe sex/morality/human law/ emotional maturity/ and not to shame themselves. There have been back alley abortions given to Christian women for years... even in the time when most family's claimed to be Christian. So I guess I don't understand.

Also... I know that this is kind of like beating a dead horse, but I'm trying to get a general consensus from pro lifers about when does life begin?
 
I believe that abortion is wrong. I also believe birth control is suitable to use only if you're married and desire to have no more children.
 
I felt convicted of this post, and I want to repent of what I said: To not to forgive someone is not of God, and I would choose to forigve that person. I would pray that the Lord convict him, and also accept the Lord. I would not consider an abortion, for it's killing a life. Children are a gift from the Lord. As it says in the scripture Psalm 127:3.

MY THOUGHTS ARE THESE, THAT GIRLS, HAVE DIED DURING THIS, WITH HOPES OF GETTING IT OVER, FOR A BETTER TOMORROW, JUST TO FIND THEY HAD GOTTEN A SOME KIND OF BAD INFECTION THAT INTERFERES WITH CONCEIVING IN THE FUTURE. EVEN THOUGH SOMETHING MIGHT HAPPEN TO SOMEONE, THE GIFT OF LIVE AND HE LAUGHTER OF A CHILD, A VISITATION FROM THE LORDS BREATH OF LIFE. FORGIVENESS IS IMPORTANT. IF A MOTHER DECIDES TO GIVE HER BABY AWAY, THAT UN FORGIVENESS IS LIKE A PLAGUE THAT FOLLOWS BOTH. A TRUE STORY WHICH COULD BE POSTED IS THAT 2 SONS WERE ADOPTED, ONLY TO CAUSE TROUBLE TO THEIR LOVING ADOPTIVE FAMILY. INTO DRUGS, THEFT, JAIL, ETC. AND HERION. THEY NEVER KNEW THEIR REAL MOTHER, BUT NEEDED TO FIND HER, FOR MEDICAL REASONS. WHEN THEY DID, SHE WAS EXACTLY LIKE THEM, DRUGS, THEFT, JAIL, AND ALL OTHER PROBLEMS. THE ADOPTIVE FAMILY HAD SO MUCH TROUBLE WITH THEM. I BELIEVE THAT WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS THE BLESSINGS OF THE RIGHTEOUS SHALL GO ON TO THE THOUSAND GENERATIONS. AND THE SINS OF THE PARENTS SHALL BE UPON THEIR CHILDREN. THOUGH THEY DID NOT LIVE WITH THEIR REAL MOM, THEY WERE NOT EXPOSED BY THAT KIND OF ENVIRONMENT, BUT ON THE CONTRARY THEY WERE SENT PAID IN FULL TO COLLAGES, ONLY TO END UP IN JAILS FOR TROUBLES. I DON'T KNOW WHY THIS IS, I BELIEVE IT IS THE BLOOD TIE THAT ALWAYS REMAINS. LIKE SOME ONE WORKING WITH SOMEONE OR LIVING NEAR TO THE OTHER SIBLING WHO WAS PUT UP FOR ADOPTION, JUST TO MEET. IN THE SAME BUILDING, OR TOWN. THERE IS SOMETHING THERE. SO IF THERE IS UN FORGIVENESS IT WILL GO ALONG WITH THE BABY TO THE PARENTS. ONE WILL BE GIVING MORE THAN A BABY HOW GOOD IT WOULD BE TO GIVE IT A BLESSING TO GO WITH. BLESS, FORGIVE. BLESSINGS FROM YESHUA. ​

I've been complaining about that for a long time. It's nice to know I'm not the only one who finds it sickening.

To be fair Homo sapiens are very overpopulated. Eagles, on the other hand, aren't.
 
To be fair, Homos are made in the image of God, and eagles aren't (Christian belief).
