Excuse me but as soon as conception happens, a woman is responsible to the new life. Abortion doesn't just affect the woman it affects the child! Women who think that "it's their body and they can do as they please" are selfish! As soon as a woman gets pregnant they lose ALL "rights" to their body and their FIRST obligation is to the baby.
I agree with the birth control situation. keeping aware that some women can't take them due to health issues

I feel like No matter what abortion is wrong . I know some people argue in the case of rape or the mothers health at risk. I have many different reasons why i find those wrong. I do feel though if someone did get an abortion it is not our place to judge, only God should judge a person.
So if a woman has a health problem and having the baby may possibly cost their life, i still feel abortion is wrong. Think of it this way. In order to get pregnant the person must be at least 13 usually, but most likely older! Hopefully in their 20's or 30's but i guess it varies. Anyway that woman has at lest have lived somewhat of a life. If it was me I would die for my baby so they could live a life and be happy that i got a chance to live my life and now I'm going to be with Jesus. Also a lot of times it is not for sure that the woman will die, so i think why not take a risk for your child? God has plan and he will choose his will.
In the case of rape and a woman getting pregnant i still feel abortion is wrong. Abortion is taking an innocent humans life away before the baby was even born. Rape is a horrible horrible thing that is hard to imagine why someone would do that. However, two wrongs don't make a right. So if a person got raped, it was obviously a sin for a guy to rape her but killing the baby is also wrong. I think maybe in this situation adoption is the right choice but it is up to the mother to decide that!
Statics say that 93 % of abortions are because of social reasons such as not wanting a kid or not being able to financially support a kid.I find it insane how someone could kill an innocent child for selfish reasons. Only 8% of abortions are for health concerns and 1% are for rape. So overall most abortions are for social reasons which i think is awful. Also there is approximately 3,700 abortions a day. Its sad that that many people do not get to live a life.Birth Control
My opinion on birth control is that it can be a great thing for a married couple. I think birth control is great if a married couple does not feel ready for children but want to be sexually active. I just think it should be a form that is not killing the baby.

Would you let this be a legitimate argument for abortion?
A couple that doesn't feel ready for children (I think most would qualify), yet want to engage in intercourse... Would that not be the same principle?

Why does the mother lose all rights, why do the babies health trump the mothers health?
I must admit that I do not have a good argument against early abortion based on what my feelings over person-hood and human rights. I still do not like the idea of abortion in generally.
I am very into birth control and if my medical insurance allows for it I am going to be getting a vasectomy over the winter.

I think both abortion and gay marriage should be made legal. I see it as a purely legal/political issue.
Personally, I would promote safe sex practices (condoms), and contraception. Sexual education as well. Especially by the parent. But if you are running a country, you can't expect that everyone is Christian or sinless.
If I found out my daughter (if I had one) was pregnant then I would not like her to abort a healthy baby, and would help her.
I don't believe in abortion, just for convenience as such. However I believe in Liberty and would prefer not having big government controlling the insides of a fellow human who just happens to be female.
You have to be careful when making anti abortion laws regardless, recently a woman in Ireland died because she was denied an abortion when she started to miscarry because they could still detect a heartbeat, both mom and baby died and it could have been prevented, but the laws grey areas make it difficult for a doctor to determine if they are in the clear or if they will be prosecuted, if the mothers life is in immediate risk and the baby will not survive anyway why lose two lives when one could be saved?

This is a great point, but I would point out that if the mother's life is at risk, it's not legally considered an abortion if the baby's life is ended in order to save the mother's life. Legally, the term "abortion" encompasses those situations where the baby's life is ended in order to save the mother's life.
^ actually in most places even if the mothers life is at risk or the child is deceased and needs help miscarrying it is still sadly classified as an abortion on paper.

I would just like to say that I have two girls and both times when I was pregnant I thought about abortion. Imi feel so blessed that I didn't follow through with it! There have been some really hard times, but my girls are such a blessing! There are also ppl out there trying so hard and praying for God to bless them with a child. Adoption should definitely be thought about before abortion.
As far as birth control I don't see anything wrong with it. A married couple may only want on or two children.

Abortion is wrong. It is not just a sin. It is a TREND SIN. A lot of women did it, do it and still doing it. In my opinion, birth control is okay. If you already have many babies and you are facing financial problems, it is much better if you’ll go for birth control.
One of the singers in my country commented that she’d rather see used condoms in trash cans than dead babies. I totally agree with her.

Very similar to how I feel about abortion. If a woman is about to die and an abortion is seriously required, or if it's considered due to rape then I personally doubt that it would be considered as sinful as a teenager who's healthy and pregnant but doesn't want a baby. If you can't afford to have the baby, you probably shouldn't have had unprotected sex in the first place...but if it's just that..the condom broke..then..maybe it's a sign..for something..? .....(kinda don't know what I'm saying with that..lol..)
But I feel that it would be better to put the baby up for adoption than to just abort it if you can't seem to afford to take care of the baby.
As for the birth control pill, some scientists claim that it "kills the baby"

Because I actually have an illness. I Have to take birth control pills for it - not because I'm sexually active (still a virgin) but because of my illness due to my family genetics (not just reproductive system problems, but heart issues as well.)
I don't believe that condoms are wrong in anyway. It's mainly an invention..just as how you can..pull out..A condom is a more accurate way of achieving the same effect as it. Sperm isn't alive with out the egg and the egg isn't alive without the sperm, so you're not killing anything. And as long as I'm on this pill, I'll have to get used to the use of condoms once I become sexual active..which isn't going to be anytime soon.
