To those of you too spiritually dead to know there IS a rapture, and to spiritually blind to recognize the "last days" when the entire world is in utter darkness and nearing complete collapse, while the "true" Church dwindles to practically nothing, then I say bye bye and good luck with the hell on earth you're all about to enter and most likely perish in...and good riddance...you were warned...
How is that attitude godly? To gloat in anothers spiritual death?

They are not going to hell, a bit premature to judge people to hell , when God's going to do that at the end, of the Lords Day .

People that don't believe in rapture, are on the Right path.
I never understood why so many rapture believers develop a self righteous attitude and delight themselves in others potential suffering.

I think he's just impatient with people . Were going to disagree sometimes. But, if were get frustrated with people, maybe not use the forums where people are at. Come back later when cooled down. I do this when I can't agree with some one and dont want to talk farther. I just come back later if im in the mood to talk.

I am just putting people on ignore that I find frustrating. Id rather not argue anymore. That gets exhausting.
And I am not directing this toward major. I have never bumped heads with him that I can remember.

Let me quote it for you in context. Behold the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints... lol.

Jud 1:14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
Deut. 33: 2 And he said, the Lord came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: and from his right hand went a fiery law for them.

It's clear as day...It's a picture of the 2nd coming of Jesus, when He returns with all of His saints at the end of the 7 year tribulation period to set up His millennial kingdom on earth...
How do you figure Jesus will set up a kingdom on earth when the whole earth will be on fire at his coming?

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Jesus' return will be known to all nations, all peoples, at the same time and heard by all in our own languages at the same time. Therefore, no "rumor" of a Messiah need ever be believed because it won't have to be rumored. And it won't be predicted. We won't know the date ahead of time, no one will. The important thing is we will all know it when it happens. All other plans for that day will be canceled because we will all be busy doing the same thing. Seeing and listening to Jesus'. I'm thinking it will be pretty scary for those who haven't believed and absolutely divine for those of us who do.

Part of my prays I'm here for that day, part of me can't wait to be in heaven with Jesus.

Guess I'll let God decide which it will be....

And who are you, I know who Paul, Peter, James, John Abraham, Moses and Noah are. but who are you to pass judgment? If this is what you are doing only God and you know the truth here, but you are coming across as if you have no error(s) in your life at all, and are put in charge of the rest of us.
I appreciate anyone's opinion right or wrong, but rebuke condemnation from anyone to anyone
2 Corinthians 10:6 and having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

You want to keep condemning others go right ahead, you have been warned back
Not here to argue and condemn, to learn from each of us what each of us sees in scripture, and take that to God who lives in us thanks to Son Christ to give us each the increase in truth from any error, we have
Micah 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

Please show us some humility?

Rapture or no rapture, we are in the age of grace through Son's finished work at the cross for all that believe receive and see. Saved by God's unfathomable Mercy thanks be to Son Christ. We are today to be alive in Spirit and dead in flesh, even though our flesh is alive. It is held alive by the power of God in the Spirit of God

but we supposed to be patient aren't we?
I found this to be true, and can be done only by the power of God's Spirit living through me.
Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
Galatians 5:24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Thanks for responding guys! The two quotes I posted are exactly what I was hoping would be pointed out.
So, my question is WHY are there so many threads about the "rapture coming soon" and the "signs are here"? No, I'm not a rapture believer(and I am not turning this into a rapture debate thread, so please refrain from it), but there are many who think the complete end is coming soon(as in no rapture, but only judgement). They are End of Timers too.
Looks to me these messengers of God were getting on to the apostles for looking into the sky, so why are we? IF you spend more time looking for signs then when are you spreading the gospel?
The gospel isn't the book of Revelation so why do some of us spend more time on the end times theories than on the gospels?
Just something I have recently began to ponder.
The believer is to do both, preach the gospel and to look for the mercy and coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. You can't ask people not to speak of the rapture and catching away of the church when you mention verses such as (Acts 1:11). The believer who has the conviction that Christ is coming for the church to keep them from the hour of temptation is looking stedfastly for the coming of the Lord with great expection and is doing the work of preaching the gospel. They are not occupied with sin but with the sin bearer and what he did on the cross to sin for the sinner. Both preaching the gospel and looking for Christ's return go hand in hand and one motivates the other in the love of God, winning the lost and putting on the redemption of our bodies to forever be with the Lord. As we preach we look upward and forward and walk by faith onward.

Nathan3...

Blind leading the blind...Good luck with that whole "head choppy offy" thing. Or the mark of the beast if you chicken out, which a lot of you will. Too bad...you COULD have come with us in the rapture....

Could have? Is that past tense? The rapture already happened?

i find some humour there too --

they were all staring at the sky, and suddenly the angels appeared next to them saying "whatcha looking at guys?"

i think the apostles probably jumped a bit and the angels chuckled
:D

I could see that...

We are saved by faith...in Jesus...alone...not by a doctrine. Big deal...you believe in a pre-trib...big deal...When it happens...believers will ALL go regardless. Unless the new theory is that Jesus will first return for the pre-tribbers...and again for the mid-tribbers...then again for the post-tribbers...and yet again to set up his kingdom. As it so happens, I believe in a post-trib....but, pray that you are right.

They just saw prophecy fulfilled in their sight.

Daniel 7
[SUP]13 [/SUP]“I saw in the night visions,
and behold, with the clouds of heaven
there came one like a son of man,
and he came to the Ancient of Days
and was presented before him.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]And to him was given dominion
and glory and a kingdom,

that all peoples, nations, and languages
should serve him;
his dominion is an everlasting dominion,
which shall not pass away,
and his kingdom one
that shall not be destroyed
Acts 1
[SUP]9 [/SUP]And when he had said these things, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight. [SUP]10 [/SUP]And while they were gazing into heaven as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes, [SUP]11 [/SUP]and said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”
1 Peter 3
[SUP]22 [/SUP]who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers having been subjected to him.

Daniel foretells Jesus ascending in the clouds to heaven, to receive his kingdom.
Acts 1 shows him ascending in the clouds, and 1 Pet 3 shows he is ruling in the kingdom.

[SUP]11 [/SUP]and said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.”
They just saw the fulfillment of a HUGE prophecy before their eyes, but the angels tell them there is more to come.
So they need to get to work.

He left as the risen and ruling king, and he'll come back as the risen as ruling king.
They will indeed see him come back as they saw him go.
As the risen king.

People get so focused on the method of his going. They then try to match that method to the method of his coming.
But the point of the cloud, wasn't to show he was going to return in a cloud too.
The point of the cloud ascension was to show the fulfilling of Daniel 7, which says he'd ascend in a cloud and take his kingdom.

When the angels say they'll see him the same way he left, they're not talking about clouds, they're talking about status.
That cloud indicated he was taking his kingdom, just as Daniel 7 showed.
So when they say we'll see him come just as he went, they're saying we'll see him coming as the ruling king.

Do ya really think this is about clouds?
I mean really?
It's about his kingdom, of which he's king.

Below is what I previously posted.
