Holiness is what makes a person beautiful.
God promised to beautify the meek with salvation.

"Please don't cut your hair"

Do you mean . . . like . . . never? Ever?

Hair isn't what makes a person Holy. What makes a person Holy is determined by whether or not Christ has lifted the Adamic Curse from a person's heart. The condition of our heart is the Purpose of Christ. It is also the first primary Work of Christ. To alter the condition of a person's heart is the Holy Effect of Christ, for to become Spiritually Circumcised is what eliminates the Mind of the Devil, substituted with the Mind of Christ.

Howdy Joseph and welcome to the forum.

I'm a Pentecostal minister and personally I agree that women should not cut their hair.

However... This is not a place to debate that. Also, trying to tell people what to do on an internet forum will probably get you a lot of flak. I checked your recent posts and noticed a lot of places where you are laying down the law to people. Yeah, no, this is not the place for that. This is a place to hang out and chat.

Case in point: Most of the people here who have known me for years are probably surprised that I believe women should not cut their hair. I just didn't come here to argue about hair. I came here to hang out and chat.

Ease up on the sermons man. This ain't the place to be preaching at people.

in fact, trying to tell a woman what to do NEVER ends well, on the internet or in person. Just saying. :p

Charm can fool you. Beauty fades. But a woman who has respect for the LORD should be praised

I'm not sure what a person's hair looks like has anything to do with true beauty.🤔

To be honest, I'm not completely sure whether the Scripture passages on women's hair length are descriptive or prescriptive, but how long a woman's hair is isn't a core doctrinal issue.

Referencing Romans 14, if a woman feels it's sinful to cut her hair, she would indeed be sinning if she chose to do it. Conversely, a woman who sees no issue with having short hair isn't sinning by keeping it short (or even letting it grow long).

Is this a personal preference thing, or a popular misunderstanding of 1 Corinthians 11? Either way, it sounds like an argument in the making. I notice the OP hasn't returned (yet) to face the music.

I'll make some popcorn while I wait....

There is a grocery store in town that I frequently shop at. The woman who often works at the customer service desk has a shaved head.
I overheard her conversation with another customer one day in that she shaved it in support of a close friend with cancer who was losing her beautiful head of hair, several of her (the cancer patient) close friends and family members did such.
 I wonder if the woman at the grocery store ever felt less than beautiful by having a shaved head?

Personally, I quickly learned that day just how beautiful the woman at the grocery store is.

Now now. We don't know for sure yet. He might just be an overeager young dude with too much enthusiasm and no idea how human nature works. Let's see what happens when he replies.

But speculation is necessary for a quick escalation!
