All of it.
I didn't watch the video though there are plenty of tulip posts here on CC. :)
oh well I never knew this tulip doctrine existed.

It would be interesting to know what people think of of this doctrine investigation

I was a bit concerned by some of his comments in the video they where quite mean. But for most part he did have manners.

But I feal he has raised some very valid points.

To me, the biggest issue is its cynical view of God's invitation to all people to put their trust in Christ and be saved.

There something cynical going on, but cynical in what way, did John Calvin know something we don't what was his intension with his doctrine of tulip,

Was it to see who the sheep and the goats where.

Has John Calvin lead people to Christ will Calvinism grow and grow, how many Calvinists are there in the world.

I mean do we all have a bit of calvinism in us in some way.

Has John Calvin lead more people to Christ in the real world, what's the deal.

You know is teaching What God can do if you dont conform a better way to get you a person to surrender.

What's the deal what was his motive,.what else did he teach besides this tulip.

That's what I want to know.

Who was John calvin does anyone know.

I've just discovered this about John Calvin surprisingly it's something i do

What are Calvin's other teachings?

john-calvin-religion-beliefs-quotes_116216.jpg

John Calvin is perhaps best known for his doctrine of predestination. He taught that God determined before all time who would be eternally saved and who would be condemned to hell. Christians, he said, should not question God's plan, but rather trust in God's good intentions for their personal life and destiny.

so if I look at his teaching about what God can do is his doctrine to discover where a person is on his walk.

So what makes no sense if John Calvin quote is legit here,

The question is how can you not question God's plan after reading his doctrine.

Thanks maybe it's the sugar daddy in me who knows.

To Be honest I'm protecting all sides at the moment,

I'm protecting Calvinists and none Calvinists, I'm hoping to create an tolerance where we can oversee together,

However I don't approve of labels so I will just say I'm protecting people at this stage and oversee those who associate themselves as a label. 😊

I don't know to be honest 😂

I've only just started to learn about calvinism

Only 2 weeks ago I thought Calvinists where the Calvary
This seems to be a real hot topic in CC for some reason, it's probably triggered by the way of salvation doctrine connection. I will first say, that I'm not trying to step on anyone's toes here, just expressing how I see it. I'm not saying, I'm right or wrong, just how I currently see it.

Is God's ways higher, than our ways?

Isaiah 55:8-9

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord.
9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Does God create things for destruction?

Isaiah 45

“This is what the Lord says—
the Holy One of Israel, and its Maker:
Concerning things to come,
do you question me about my children,
or give me orders about the work of my hands?
12 It is I who made the earth
and created mankind on it.
My own hands stretched out the heavens;
I marshaled their starry hosts.
13 I will raise up Cyrus in my righteousness:
I will make all his ways straight.
He will rebuild my city
and set my exiles free,
but not for a price or reward,
says the Lord Almighty.”

Romans 9:21

Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

I was thinking that the difference between a new born baby, and the father of the new born baby, would make a great comparison of the difference between man and God's understanding, intelligence, and strength.

Last verse I will leave is.....

Matthew 22:14

For many are called, but few are chosen.

I will say it plainly, I think God wanted to choose HIS elect, and HE wants the elect to choose HIM. Can you imagine what heaven would be like with people living in paradise saying, "I hate paradise, why wasn't I given a choice"? That would ruin heaven for everyone in it, so only people that really love God and want to be with God, will be with God.

This was God's plan all along, but some angels, the devil, and all mankind (except Jesus) decided to go against the original plan. Maybe sin is just another way of saying, against the original plan for God's Kindowm?!?!

God is obviously the judge at the end, but saying what I believe is possible.

Does not God compare the union like a marriage? A man and wife? Doesn't the man choose the wife and the wife choose the man? I see it as a two way street, but I could be wrong, but this is how I see it.

This topic isn't really that important to me, but just sharing my thoughts on the matter. Feel free to try to make me understand a different view point, never really spent to much time on "Calvinism".

I hope this post is appreciated, since I feel I might of walked into a trap!

what I've noticed is the traps are layed by the doctrine of total depravity in Calvinism the doctrine of devils.

I've also noticed the devil lays traps.

So yes I'm now laying my traps for the devil 😊

Thanks for sharing kinda,.

I will reply soon.

As I'm currently working on some more traps for the devil doctrine of total depravity .

When I've finished it should blow his head off.

So I will research your post and respond in full soon 😊

You went from I don't know about Calvinism, to doctrine of devils in 4 days. That must of been some intense research. :)

I sorta figured, this was a set-up thread for Calvinist bashing, but I felt I needed to share. I don't consider myself Calvanist, but my gut tells me Calvin was using logic, and people aren't trying to understand what he is getting at. Everyone wants to be the police of order of salvation. My guess is that Calvin just viewed something in critical thought while most others are looking at his ideas from a different perspective of what he intended.

Am I Calvinist supporter? I don't even know what he taught to be honest. I heard the once saved, always saved theory by Calvin by listening to preachers on Calvary Chapel, but I don't even know, if he said that. So, don't say, I'm preaching his ideas, because I don't even know what they are. lol If anything Calvary Chapel is spreading Calvinism, because that's the only time I heard of his doctrine. lol

Bottom line for me is what Joel Osteen said. Yes, I listen to Joel, he encourages people, and that's what people need right now.....Encouragement. He said something along the lines, you maybe surprised who will be in heaven, and others maybe surprised your in heaven. lol I'm not questioning anyone's salvation, that's for God to judge.

Good luck with your Crusade! I'm not up for heated debates any more. :)

evidently I've researched predestination my whole life

I dont like heated debates either.

As for tulip I've only known it for 2 weeks as I've researched it for 2 weeks 24,7 I'm pretty qualified to know what I'm asking.

And it doesn't line up with my my lifetime of knowledge of 15 years of living predestination everyday.

As for traps my traps are heaven bound.

Stroll on with the thunder dome song 😊

Sharing my heart on this matter

people calvinism depraves the depraved,

I never realised until 2 weeks weeks I've been getting abused by this the whole 12 months I've been here and that I'm the one who's been bashed by Calvinism and this tulip doctrine that I never knew it existed.

Or Calvinists where doing this

you may not have not noticed but I'm being deliberately targeted by Calvinists, who with there doctrine of total depravity have decided that I don't serve God so now there stripping me of God as they do all other people

So I've now re wrote my will again that I will take to my death bed.

Some of you may never of understood so here it is again

Heres a letter to my will, that i will leave in my will, which still shows God as all knowing.

And the question I will leave in my will is

Why Did God make it law that man shall not live alone.

The other thing I will state in my will is that Calvinism will say this is not true, because they say it doesn't line up with an ism, isms are bad thing.

Then in my will, will be this question.

Can you see how this proves calvinism wrong.

friends it will hopefully sink in soon 😊

But here's the reason

Right up to the ending of genesis 3

God had created man not outside of time.

In other words he chose not to know what man would do next before they did something, before the fall of man, because they where living in innocence in his garden, which can be shown in many ways in genesis 3 also.

Well this proves calvinism wrong

but here the other thing,

God first created man with no suitable helper.

After he saw the animals where not suitable helpers for Adam he then made it a law that man should not live alone without a suitable helper and gave him a wife. ❤️

because man was first created not outside of time before the fall , God never knew man would not find the animals suitable helpers, so he the made it law that man shall not live alone by giving him a suitable helper

This is why he hates divorce to.

He hates divorce so much he considers that man living alone is not Good.

But after the fall particular genesis 3 God put man outside of times so he could know what you where going to do before you do it.

Why well to help you in a fallen state, which means you are never truly totally depraved, as God honours marriage in life and death.

One scripture says, when you pray God's knows what you need before you ask him.

Well he never knew that before the fall, because God realised man did not have a suitable helper at first.

If you turn to bible you will read God found that the animals where not suitable helpers for Adam.

So he gave man a helper (a wife) and it made it law that man shall not live alone.

To further sanction this God made it law that marriage must be honoured and told us in no uncertain terms that he hates divorce.

So in death God the father is still with you untill he hands you to the son.

Oh one last note

God is still all knowing.

Because hes God and he cares about you in a fallen state, he has made you live outside of time, so that he knows what you will do before you do it.

As God says this

When you pray God knows what you need before you know it.

Well this was after the fall he said this.

Because before th fall in the garden of innocent ie eden, he never knew that then animals would be a suitable helper untill it was tried.

Then when he knew God then said it's not good that man shall live alone so he made it a law that man shall not live alone and have man a wife.

One last note

God is still all knowing

God is still all knowing

God is still all knowing

God is still all knowing.

Oh lastly one more thing God is still all knowing 😊

Thanks for wanting to understand people
