Lame excuses. Both Christ and John the Baptist spoke out against sin and evil around them, and Christ drove the buyers and sellers out of the temple in Jerusalem twice. Since Christians are lights in the world, they must expose darkness whenever possible.

I thought those excuses were lame too. What's hard is then the believers who do speak out then incur all the grief while those such as my friend get to sit and watch TV and enjoy their ice cream and reap the benefits of the work of the doers. I just don't think God is going to hold us guiltless. Look at the world we're leaving to this next generation. These youth don't stand a chance.

They're teaching these kids perversion - it's being pushed by Hollyweird and is even in cartoons. A woman at our old church's daughter is a school psychologist and said that a lot of youth are coming to her with gender identity issues. That didn't just happen - that was planted in their minds.

I really fear for this next generation. If we don't all take up our cross and act it's going to be suffering upon suffering.

Judgement begins with the house of God. When the church gets its house in order, it will have the moral authority to say something to the world. Today I spoke to someone who listened often to a well known Christian who was found to have improper relationships with young women. He was shattered. Satan used the fall from grace of someone the man respected to undermine his faith. I believe I was able to help him and to confirm what other Christians have said to him. Just the same, how much better it would be if such encouragement was not necessary.

Christians need to wake up. We have all the power and authority of the Lord Jesus. He did not go around condemning the secular rulers. He took on the religious hypocrites who were fine outwardly but corrupt inwardly. He told Roman soldiers to be content with their wages, not to rebel and join the Jews in revolution. He commended the Roman Centurion as a man of faith. Lord Jesus did not demand that he quit his position as a leader in the occupying army.

The reason that nations become great is spiritual. Queen Victoria ruled over the greatest age of the British Empire. Britain really was great in those days. She declared it was due to the Christian heritage that Britain enjoyed and maintained. The USA also once had a true Christian foundation and built much upon that foundation. Look at it now. Every kind of evil is rampant, anyone who dares to oppose evil is shouted down, there is no free speech and little in the way of equality, liberty and true justice . Britain is headed towards being a Muslim nation. And that is simply because the church became complacent, tolerant of immorality and failed to engage in spiritual warfare.

It's not wrong to speak up on issues. Right now I have leaflets to deliver opposing gender reassignment surgery for children. Parents who counsel their children against it could go to prison for 10 years. Paedophiles get shorter sentences. Our government is utterly corrupt. But I have to acknowledge my failure. I was too taken up with federal issues and so neglected state issues. I won't make that mistake again. However, it would have been far better if the state had not become corrupt in the first place. One person can't change that. The church must rise up in resisting Satan, the true enemy of our souls.

God's judgement for now is very simple. He lets people do as they please. He does not need to intervene. He will at times send floods, earthquakes and such to get man's attention, or stop some great evil from occurring. But mostly the human race is quite capable of self inflicting wounds.

Romans 1 traces the decline of the human race. "Therefore God gave them over to the desires of their hearts." verse 24. How do we reverse this? I don't know that it is possible now. We are meant to be salt. Salt preserves what is there, it will not improve it. Even if nothing gets worse in our societies, we are still far from the Christian values that once set us apart. One thing is for sure: the status quo is unacceptable to God and should be to us. 2 Chronicles 7:14 should be on everyone's heart right now. Don't expect the world to change. It is under Satan's rule. We need the Lord to change us. Then just maybe the land will be healed.

What are your credentials dissing the entire medical field? You may find a dozen quacks world/wide who are bonified doctors to agree with you, but the tru killers are those who refuse to do all possible to protect others fro themselves.

Do not say God is against the medical profession as some fabricated defense. My own experience is to wear the mask to protec others, andalso to be vaccinated. I have not had a flu shot since 1962, so what is the problem here. Oh, you heard online, right.

Amen. I tried warning friends from church and they turned on me and ended our friendship. I had no clue that 'christians' lacked so much discernment and couldn't see through it.

Look at the 'churches' in Texas vaccinating children. May God help them. It breaks my heart to think of young children who don't have a choice. Are we going to have mass deaths in children now?

We have a scientist in our family as well. So glad you see through the lies. I'm not a scientist but one doesn't need to be to see that vaccines were allegedly invented by the Jesuits - "the poisoned needle." There is so much online about the danger of vaccines. The world has always been in Satan's control. It's getting more and more Satanic as Satan comes out in the open. God is not going to change the world. Christians can prevent the decline of the world by being salt and light. The church in the West has been too busy navel gazing and competing with other Christians to be salt and light. So we see the result.

My confidence is in Christ. He is building His church and nothing can stop Him or the church. But it won't be organised Christianity, what I call "Christianism". It will be small groups in places like China, Iran, Iraq or other countries where it costs to be a Christian. The Western world is turning against Christianity also. So we will be forced to get real or go back into the world. Satan one day will be cast down, overcome by the brethren who know the power of the Blood, who testify to Christ and who do not love their own lives to the point of death. This is not just physical death. It is the death to self.
