Has anyone ever dealt with the supernatural, occult, paranormal, voodoo, seances, demonic possession, curses,or witchcraft?
Incidences of such things are detailed in The Holy Bible accounts.. So as a Christian i believe such things are real...

The only thing the Bible never mentions in your list is Voodoo.. But no doubt there are demonic practices attached to Voodoo..

I believe all forms of satanism are really lies.

Thanks Wilson411, for your question.

First of all, it is important to note that the opposite of this sort of thing that you mention (the occult and so on) is being saved by Jesus. Those who are saved by Jesus are described with the parable word "clean" in the Bible. Jesus said about the believers, "Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. " That parable word "clean" is talking about not having the stain or penalty of sin attached to their person. They have been forgiven their sins and so are clean of the stain of it, of the eternal consequences of it. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. "

The Bible uses the parable language of an "unclean spirit" to describe those who are unsaved. Are your saved? The Bible would describe you as clean. Are you unsaved? The Bible would describe you as unclean, still having the penalty of sin attached to your person. People often read about an unclean spirit or a devil in the Bible and forget that this is simply language describing anyone who is not saved. Babylon, for example was described: "Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. " This is describing people who might not be foaming at the mouth and whose head might not be twisting around and around as they crawl like a spider across the ceiling. So, it is important to note that Bible terms may not be talking about what many people assume they are. Having an unclean spirit is Bible lingo for being unsaved.

There are various manifestations of the spiritual world on either the good (from God) or the bad side ( from Satan) but Jesus has bound Satan, so Satan cannot stop a person from being saved if God opens that person up to Jesus and the good news. Of course, there is a battle or conflict between the two realms. Satan tries to convince believers to not believe, for example. We read, "But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now. " Nevertheless, if God opens the spiritual ears of a person to believe and to trust him, Satan cannoth stop that from happening.
That’s a pleasant sanitized distortion of Scripture. It doesn’t account for the fact that Jesus cast unclean spirits out of people. Unclean spirits are entities distinct from humans. They are real and have power and influence, but cannot stand against Jesus.

Straight to my questions

What is the difference between supernatural and spiritual. I've been at this a long time but I'm still 'teachable'.

True that the folks of Ephesus burned their books. It is a good / necessary thing that we rid our homes of any thing that may be an open door for demonic activity. This ought to be done in prayer and in depth.

"I was also born with a hereditary bondage to the occult."
Would you expand on this some? I had an uncle that was a Church of GOD pastor that fell into the spiritualist movement some time in the 60's. He was almost dead probably due to judgement but he survived and later became a Baprist pastor for many decades until his passing at 80+yars old.
The prefix "super" means something is added or something enlarged, not something entirely different. We use the word "superstructure" for the top parts of a ship. "Superbowl" is the ultimate event of that sport. So "Supernatural" pertains to the natural realm.

Man was created with amazing abilities. I believe that Adam and Eve could fly. How else could they rule the birds? I have trouble coming up with a unique username. Adam named all the animals. He had to form a name and remember it so he did not use it again. That shows amazing mental ability.

My mother was a teenager in WW2. She knew when the German bombers were coming and was in the shelter before anyone else. That was an occult spirit. Her side of the family were in the occult, holding seances and Ouija board sessions. My mother believed in astrology. She took the horoscope seriously. We had a poltergeist in the home for some years.

I was drawn to the occult too. I read many books about the occult, no doubt because I had the evil spirit in me.

Those who get deep in the occult are usually seeking to control. That is the essence of witchcraft. It helps to remember that witchcraft is a work of the flesh.

The "spiritual" is an entirely different realm. It is God's realm, not the natural. Remember that Satan sought to be like God
(Isaiah 14:12-15). Satan tempted Adam to seek to be like God also. We know how that turned out.

Man was created spirit, soul and body. When Adam disobeyed, it was his spirit that died to God. Adam could have eaten from the tree of life and so lived forever. Eve was enticed because she used her soul to look at the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

So man became bound to the natural realm. He can only go by what he sees, hears, feels and desires. Romans 1 reveals the terrible descent of mankind.

We see the contrast in 1 Corinthians 15:45 "
"So also it has been written: "'The first man Adam became into a living soul;'" the last Adam into a life-giving spirit."

This is why the unbeliever does not receive the things of God because they are spiritually discerned (1 Corinthians 2:14). That is why reason and logic are often to the believer. Trying to discern the spiritual by natural means is a recipe for confusion, doubt and unbelief.

Personally I believe that witchcraft ( so called ) is akin to all other false religions , that's what they r , just other false religions . To me , if u r going to believe in witchcraft u may as well believe in hinduism . What's the difference ? We know that other religions r false , r they the work of the devil ? Or of man's imagination ? They r all the same to me , just false religions . There is only one God , the Holy One of Israel . Everythng and anything else is just false and comes from the same source , human imagination and sin , delusions and depravity . Nothing more .
Demons are real and still active, even more so in this age. Satan is still God's adversary and the enemy of our souls. There are two errors. One is to imagine that demons and the devil are not real, which denies God's word (Ephesians 6 for example). The other is to attribute everything to demons and/or the devil. "The devil made me do it" is a line by a comedian, Flip Wilson, not something we find in God's word.

Not in “real life” but in dreams, yes.

No really.

But I have heard of people experiencing things supernatural,
The bible states that the devil is a liar, and deciever. All power comes from God and God Almighty created lucifer who became the deceptive devil.

The only two sources of power are from God or from Satan. Satan is good at pretending, lying to be anything he wants.

The bible states .....
Mat 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

2Co 11:13-15
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
