Jullianna, I understand if you need to take a break or feel like you need to leave for good. That is certainly between God and you and I hope that you find peace in this situation one way or another.
I will say that I would/will certainly miss you around here. I've always thought of you as one of the brightest lights in this place and you're one of the people that has made me even want to keep visiting this particular forum. I've enjoyed reading your posts and learning from them, as many of them make me think. You were also one of the first people that made me feel welcome here. I'm certain I'm not the only one who can say that. So I want to say a big thank you for all of that.
I pray God blesses you in your decisions and life. :)

Jullianna I don't know what thread you are talking about, you are probably talking about a general situation here more than just one thread...whatever it is I hope you do the right decision. I need to tell you that I would miss you so much! :( your posts are very edifying and I think a lot of us would agree that you are a great contributor in this place! We all fail sometimes, sometimes we don't know the right words to say and we end up saying stupid things. This place has been a blessing to me, I've been able to see my faults and learn from them, well at least I've tried to learn from them:o and some of your posts have helped me to do that.
I know you know this, but I hope you don't feel like changing people's hearts is on you, just like in any other place you will find unbelievers, christians, and fake christians, and even though it's disappointing the only thing we can do is being an example, that's our only duty...and sometimes we fail. You and other people I have met in this site have allowed me to see that there's still light in the world.
You might think I want to make you feel bad for leaving huh? haha but no, my purpose is just to let you know that you are appreciated here. I hope you come back soon, you will be greatly missed.
God bless you tons <3

Thank you all for your loving posts here and the tender, encouraging emails I have received today.

I was at a very vulnerable place when I first came to CC. I had just broken up with someone I'd been with for about three years. Someone I'd expected to marry, but it just didn't work out. I met a couple of guys at that time who had a negative impact on me and I behaved in ways I knew were wrong for me. I know firsthand how easy it is for a woman to be led down the wrong path at a vulnerable time in her life. I owe some very precious CC people big time for helping me get back on the right road.

I saw a vulnerable young lady being led down that same path by people who had no understanding of the damage they could be doing. Women are so different from men...so very, very different. And we don't recover from some situations as easily as they do. And it hit me HARD. I was and am very afraid for her.

So, for me, today was the last straw. I became so angered I thought I might spontaneously combust and I can't allow that. Please understand that I really....really...really...need to take a break, as much as I love you all. Sometimes we can invest too much of ourselves and we need to take time to allow God to dump the junk and fill us with more of Him, you know?

With much love, Didi

I noticed latley there were some posts asking people what should they do in their situation. And people replyed and gave them good advice and they did not take it. Its like they want to hang on to their problems. Some people like to be victims because they get attention that way. I used to be that way. A pure drama queen. I learned to get off the pitty pot and take action and responsablity for my life. When I did that marvelius things started to happen in my life.

P.S. Julianna I am not talking about you.I can easly see how you are hurt and Im just about to cry thinking that these hainis things go on.

Luba, grown men are talking with little girls about extremely personal topics in the teen forum and it is turning my stomach in light of what happened to my son online when he was that age. I can’t stay here. It’s just too much. Even I have my limits.

Julieannie, their is a time and a season for everything under the sun. If you are needing to take time to rediscover goodness that God brings and dump the garbage that The Enemy brings, that is a good choice. Pray its God's choice for you then just do it, whatever He says to do, otherwise we become through tests we may not understand until we are in the belly of a whale .

God bless you, girl :)

The Lord leads.

God bless you, girl, and, yes, thanks for all you've imparted in Godly wisdom and understanding to all of us on c.c.

I appreciate your efforts on here, helping threads continue. :)

One thing i know is leaving CC won't help much...

Here's my argument, there as just as much *misleading* people out there as there are on CC, here's the Irony of the whole thing, it's the *misleading* people out there who join CC.. So i don't think leaving would help much..

Btw, if Julliana should leave, i'm taking the next flight to USA with my concealed weapon that i may or may not have ofcourse :p :D

I probably need to take a forum break because this is really discouraging to me…

Its something that can and should be done if you feel a bit drained. My husband and I are both daily users of CC, usually in the evenings. But there was a time shortly after we married when he became very wearied by all the negative and quite frankly stupid threads and that affected his daily mood in a noticeably negative way that I heavily enforced a detox from CC. Whereby the two of us deliberately changed our passwords by scribbling on our keypad without looking so to speak, thereby not knowing our new passwords. After about 1-2 months without it, and feeling refreshed from the break and missing the decent people we did know, we returned and retrieved our passwords. We still read things that could get into the world Guinness records for stupidity occasionally but its easier than before to just ignore and let that person's actual local church community deal with them instead of allowing ourselves to hit our head against a brick wall in frustration.

My friends and I would often do the same thing to ourselves during exam period in college where everyone felt using facebook was a huge distraction so we blocked ourselves and each other and did interventions on people we knew who should have been studying and were caught LOL. We did it because we loved one another and know that sometimes an enforced break is good in order to refocus on other important things.

I have given my anger over to God. When we are not controlling our anger, but it is controlling us, that is not of God, is it? No matter what the reason.

I totally get what CatWoman is saying. There are times when drama kings/queens will come in and either attempt to provoke us to wrath or try to gain our sympathy/attention by making up some wild stories. Fortunately, I have found that to be the exception, not the rule. Most of the people I've met here are genuine, caring people...some with very serious issues who are seeking prayer partners and loving ears.

I hope this thread will help us all understand and remember that the words appearing on the screens here are typed by flesh and blood, not some automated programs...people who can be hurt and deeply influenced by what we say, especially young people/young christians. Yeah..yeah..yeah.."we have the right to our opinions", but we need to remember that we're going to be held accountable for the effects our words have on the emotions and lives of others, both short and long term. So, if a young person asks you a question, before you answer according to your personal beliefs and perceptions, consider as well the consequences your advice may have and how God would have you answer them.

^ Amen.

Matthew 18:6-10

New International Version (NIV)

Causing to Stumble

6 “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. 7 Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come! 8 If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire. 9 And if your eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.

10 “See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.
