Because evolution gets us somewhere. It has useful applications and is helping our understanding of biology.

What pure nonsense from someone who I suspect has not taken a moment to even google the theory of evolution. The fittest should survive? My school textbook warned us not to us that misconception of evolution due to its false claim that 'fittest' survive when in fact that is untrue. In actual fact it is ability of adaption and growth of the populations which drive evolutionary theory not your claim we are all 'mistakes', try using words which don't look completely out of place. Mistake would infer a plan with error. Humans as a species can't be mistakes because evolution didn't plan out the human body. If you take 20 minutes and go buy yourself The origins of species by means of natural selection you can read the chapter where Darwin credited and encourages the genuine care humans have for one another especially the sick and needy.

Now to move on to your claim about the nazis, firstly to ever place evolutionary theory as a nazi ideal, and then imply we have some affection for it is both disgusting and pseudo-historic. You ask us what should we do to people with mental illness' or disabilities as if we would support eugenics or mass murder like the nazis? Shame on you for being so cheap. Explain to me how Hitler in Mein Kampf wrote about doing Gods work. Explain how each member of the Nationalist Socialist Party had to swear an oath of God and Hitler. Explain the concept of Gott Mitt Un on every single Nazi soldiers belt. Religious people like to say that atheists believe everything is an "accident". Typically, when the topics of abiogenesis or the Big Bang arise, the theist offers a false dichotomy between "purposeful design" and "purposeless accident".

Understanding the Use of "Accident"

Two different lines of definition exist for the word "accident", and the theist might be making either claim.

• They may mean "accident" as an event that was not intended. For example, someone driving a car does not intend to collide into another car. So when it does, it's labelled an "accident".

So by saying that atheists believe everything is an accident is implying that atheists believe in a designer, who strayed from it's intent, which is clearly not the position of an atheist, by definition, who does not believe in the existence of any deities that had intent or made an accident.
If there are no gods, then our existence is neither accidental or intentional. It just is. We are the ones who are speculating on whether it's an acccident or intentional, which is irrelevant because from what we can tell, our existence is not the result of a sentient mind.

Even if you think its all mere myth, as you say what is wrong with what is written,? for example morals. And don't you think we Christians face the same as you when dealing with atheist. It is by the Love of God that man learns to say no to harming one another and all law is fulfilled in this love of God best described in 1 Cor.13:4-13 this what God spreads abroad in the believers heart, a heart transplant is what I call this, that permeates through out our old self, as we continue to trust God to see God's truth back at the cross of Christ where it was all finished, he came took away all sin right there in his Father's sight so Father could come to live in us by the resurrection

What school textbook is that? I've taken quite a few college science courses in a major university. I sure never saw that said.

Well i am not convinced about the bible, the gospels, if jesus even existed and the existence of god. Go ahead.



I don't need to prove there is no god, you need to prove there is.

We even have the entire explanation, except the origins of life, on how the universe came into existence and how evolution took place, etc. That's a score 1 for me in that case.

Again, i'm not one of those biggots who say there is no god 100%, i merely say that i currently disbelieve his existence based on the lack of evidence. Sure one day we could prove his existance, but that time isn't now. If he was keen on us knowing he existed, he would make it a lot more clear then to tell a few people and trust them to write it down.

But just to be clear, your definition of a god is metaphysical (or supernatural) and by definition, it falls into the null hypothesis of being impossible to prove or disprove. So having said that, i doubt the proof of his existance will change. That's why your % of knowledge is malformed: what is knowledge? If you put a % on it, you must know the finite number of "knowledge". In addition, supernatural things do not fit under knowledge because we could never prove it. So it doesn't matter if i had 100% knowledge of everything, i still wouldn't know if the supernatural existed

As you do not need to prove there is no creator of all this here on earth and in the universe, neither do I need to prove that God the Father of Christ is real. That has already been done in history by Christ coming here in the flesh through the Virgin Mary, and showed us all the way home, left only one thing for us each to do is either believe or stay in unbelief. Now all will have had their conscious chance to believe or not. therefore when the time comes those that choose not to believe in God will have no excuse for whatever God decides for them to have or not have.

According to that trusty science it is still unknown. People are still trying to show how the universe came to be.
