Here is a youtube video of a boy who recovered from a traumatic encounter with a lawn mower. The doctor claims he healed in ways that are impossible. The boy credits Jesus for his healing.

Hi, I'm an atheist, here's my perspective.

Faith and spiritual healing exists in many different traditions across the world and is not limited to Christianity. Before there were religions, there was spiritual healing in shamanism.

Apparently, sometimes this works, in some ways, and I don't claim to understand it. Sometimes things happen that are outside of natural laws that we know and can explain yet. In Christianity, this is called a miracle. (Whether or not this was what happened with the boy in question)

I'm open to "miracles" being possible. I am fully aware that I can't explain some phenomena.

To say "this is proof that Jesus and the Bible are the ultimate truth" is a bit of a leap though... A person brought up in another religion could say e.g. that Krishna was helping them. That's cool. That's the way they interpret what happened. I don't have a problem with that. But it doesn't make me want to convert to Hinduism and take up a lot of beliefs that have no direct relationship with what just happened.

I'm comfortable with not knowing and not understanding everything there is in this universe. My response to a healing like this is to be filled with gratitude beyond measure.

Wow! GodfreyB, I see love for all, coming out of you, and am thankful, and I respect your free choice to be whoever you choose to be, I for me believe in God. To me no matter what something had to create this entire world and universe.
The grass, the trees, the air we do not see, the animals, us people, something is definitely behind all of this that made.
Even if it is called the big bang theory, Energy is energy, it can't be created nor destroyed, it is what it is!!!!! And energy is heat and heat always travels from a warmer spot to a cooler spot, and gravity is gravity, jump out of a plane and splat when hit the ground, yet man has been very creative himself and has defied the law of gravity.
Hear that man is very creative.
And fights and wars are gone awry, killing each other, stealing from each other, only loving those that love us, and wars of all sorts break out.
The God's of this world, I do not believe in, Man being a creator is, good and yet turned into Bad, by some.
For one calls this good while another calls it bad, I am shamed over the selfish love of Human beings.
No wonder there are so many Atheists, and on and on that choose not to believe there is a God, A Christian God and that Christ is the exact representation of God the creator of all, for many people not all are a very poor representation of who God the Father truly is, and always revealed by their non love for all peoples.
Matthew 5:46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that?
Luke 6:32 “If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them.

Too bad not all get this and wars are created over not loving others as God truly does love us all, this is what is not represented correctly
Love you God's way as What God has shown me, thanks for listening
