Ok ok what do you mean by Mennonite? old school or new? You might be thinking of Amish, not Menno.
I go to a University where half of the students are Menno, and they don't look old school or Amish. Many people in my uni dress in a cross of hipster/folk look. But thats kind of a generalization.

Well the hipster look is equally bad...stop shopping at goodwill people. I dont want to see you wearing my grandmothers sweater that we took their last spring cleaning.

I can abide by all the other things, however, resisting the urge to cater to my severe Mennonite fashion tendencies is going to take some work. At least I now know why I apparently don't have the Christian guy I'm looking for!

Seoul, don't hide who you are because some people don't find it attractive. You would be surprised how many will be attracted to a conservative woman. I am not a Mennonite nor have I ever been, but I dress more conservatively than probably 90% of women and am not ashamed of it. I have had customers come into my store and tell me it is nice to see a lady wearing a skirt. I am proud that I am a lady no matter what I wear. It isn't the outfit that makes me. I make the outfit!! I think it is how you come across in what you wear. I hear all the time that people love how I walk no matter where I am at because I walk with confidence. God has made me his child and I am proud of who I am.

What?! And its not even Descyple?! Or does Descyple dress that way as well?
:P

He left me!!! How could he leave someone so sweet, cute, and honest? lol Actually I wonder if I can get him moved over to the G side? NOT!!!

Me I dont like women wearing non matching colors with hair that's a mess and looks like a dogs breakfast. If I had to say what i do like seeing women in it would be just some basic clothes like a one piece dress with maybe a little lace around the neck. or a nice warm trench coat because I love trench coats i have one my self. but back to women maybe a yukata kimono with sakura blossoms or a delicate Victorian dress.

Im not really fussy. My self I like to wear clothes like this 2013-03-06-031646.jpg I call the style Neo meets Frank Sinatra. I like it

Chrissy, your post encouraged me. :) I dress very ladylike, to the point where I wear modest but feminine/flattering skirts and dresses 95% of the time. A lot of people used to judge me and question me, some even said they were offended because they thought that I believed it was wrong for women to wear pants (I don't - I just feel so much more feminine and confident in dresses so I strongly prefer to dress this way). I agree with everything in your post. Thank you. :)

You are welcome!

NO-NO:

- Guys with skinny jeans, and especially jeggings!
- Guys who intentionally button down their shirt to look cool (and walk with that I'm-so-cool manner)
- Guys with long hair
- Guys who wear branded styles much more than I do
- Guys wearing slippers with socks!

Well, I'm a Mennonite by heart but I wear modern styles but not too much bling-bling and make up (personal preference, not because I'm a Mennonite). I'm practical, so I love to wear top + jeans or just a casual dress. Dress up only for special occasions.

YES-YES:

- Any man who looks earthly comfortable with what he wears (except of those above)

dang it! I guess I am disqualified for ever being liked.

What you wear states who you are.
What you are stating should reflect your personality.
Your personality is your own.
I must say, look how you want?
Yes there a certain things that are just wrong to wear, but not all of them. It's your opinion on how you look.
You make your own statement, don't try changing someone else's.
We all live with what we do to ourselves.

The type of girls I like <3:

lol I know this girl XD Seriously I do....

The trouble is those girls typically come with a need to supply anti-depressants.

I kid, I kid.

man i wonder what overly stereotypical style those girls will flock to next once scene stops being popular(is it honestly still popular now?)

Haha good question. This girl who was infatuated with me claimed I was a bit of a scene guy. I reacted by modifying my dress in a more stodgy direction.

Oh the life of a conservative hipster.

What is wrong with scene girls? Its not that popular now come on, get your facts straight. It is general classified in schools as the "EMOs," which is frowned upon in the "popular peer hood," Its still the Aeropostle, American Eagle styled preps etc.
