(I always think of the fact that when Lazarus' died, Jesus wept... right along with the others. Even though He knew He was going to raise him from the dead in a few minutes! And surely Jesus of all people knew He would see Lazarus again in heaven. But He was overcome with sorrow... and he wept.)

when I die, I don't want people boohooing over me. id rather people just move on with life. im dead, crying about it is not going to change it.
I know it sounds harsh but its how I feel about death. it happens, can't stop it, just accept it is part of life and move on.
 
Yup. We all accept and react to things in different ways, Wise.

And something tells me... that you could really use a hug.

However, I'm a bit afraid that if I did try to hug you... you'd probably give me a lecture. Which wouldn't bother me.

It's just that I try to respect boundaries and don't like giving hugs if the other person finds it offensive.

P.S. I've always told my parents that if I die before them they can just turn me into a compost heap in the backyard. I figure I might as well contribute to the environment!

what makes you think I need a hug?

People say I have a hard and cold outlook on things. IDK maybe I do or maybe I just have what really matters figured out thus I just don't worry about things.
 
this girl came up to me and said...."bow chickaa woow woow" and then walked away. I dont know what kind of gesture that was but maybe you guys can help...

Why did it fail: Illogical. Why are you sorry? Its not your fault.

more edify: a hug, understanding silent presence, food, chocolate

let them know? no, because they are hurting too and are trying to help.

I tell them when I die (if its before them) that I'll be with Jesus in Heaven and not to cry for me, but they can cry because they miss me. However, I want them to live their life and be happy and confident that we will meet again when God calls them home.

When I see someone who really needs a hug, but who I know would reject it, I stare at them really hard and "hug them with my mind". Hahahaa. Boom. Can't stop a mind hug, now can you? :rolleyes:

Also, I want to be composted too!! We can be compost buddies!! *fistbump*
