I am sure there are other teachers who have these qualifications to lead a study.
You have one teacher, and He is Messiah:

Matthew 23:8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.

I was hoping my post #7 would get people answering those questions which all relate to an in-depth study of the first verse of the Bible. But the OP has not even returned to respond.
No offense, but the kind of "in-depth" stuff you posted is exactly what I don't care to participate in.

Tom Bradford did NOT suggest doubt of the words of the Lord in any way. Perhaps he suggests doubt on the words of man.

In other words, do not study the words of the bible, wait until you pass from this life to sit at the feet of Christ. I don't agree with this.

You are not really contributing to the study but commenting on what goes on.

Whether you participate or not the fact remains that unless we are willing to carefully examine words and phrases in Scripture we will not really see what is being said. A doctrine can be based on a little as a singular or plural noun.

All the doctrines that oppose each other are based on a study of scripture, yet all scripture is truth.

I was told my posts are not helping with this subject, but I am posting thoughts that I hoped would be considered as the choice of study is made.

I’ve never heard of him I was just reading what he told you, it seems like he subtly invited doubt and one. Resend to hear what he said.

but I probably misunderstood this part

“I found a man who promised not to give his own interpretation of scripture, only tell what scripture says.

He added that God spoke to the men who wrote down what God said in language as they knew it, but culture changes over time and with that the meaning of words changes”

that seems to subtly invite doubt of what’s written and invite one to hear his interpretation and thinking instead was all I was saying

anyone can tell what the Bible says if they first establish a reason no one else can really understand it that’s what joseph prince does just more blatantly , but we all can understand if we desire and ask the lord he is willing and able to teach us his word

Why would the history of the meaning of words make anyone doubt the Lord?

There are NO doctrines which oppose each other. Where do you come up with such ideas?

There are doctrines of the church that have been established by men's interpretation of scripture. If there is only agreement in the organized church why is there different denominations? There are disagreements even on this site--you are disagreeing with me even.

I think he’s thinking that your saying the Bible’s doctrines are wrong and conflict. Rather than what your saying is men understand the Bible differently and thier understanding of the Bible conflicts

Because it was first written in Hebrew and a few other languages so we need to know what the real meaning is because they may loose something in the translation .

Jesus made it real clear the traditions of men make void the word of God. I am not here to judge any church or any person; I will plant a seed, give you the very best interpolation from the bible I can. Jesus said I have foretold you everything, It is up to use to ask God to give us eyes to see and ears to hear, the Holy Spirit will lead you. Don't take my word for things check it out in Gods word. My favorite people in the bible get about 3 verses in Acts 17 The Bereans; They heard Paul's teaching but then went home and searched the scriptures(the Old Testament) to make sure that it was so. When was the last time you or someone went home from church and took your bible to check out what the preacher was saying was so? Your future depends on it.

so we are going to do that better than the 54 world renowned translators used to translate it already ? From the Aramaic , Hebrew and also Greek ?

Which people have accepted for hundreds of years . now we’re going to do an internet study and out do all those professional translators who rechecked and rechecked each other’s work independently ? I don’t think so but maybe I guess maybe people were all deceived until now

“Jesus made it real clear the traditions of men make void the word of God.”

yeah people misunderstand the Bible and teach false doctrine from it is what Satan has always done from the first commandment forward . it doesn’t make what’s written wrong. That’s Hids work including the translation.

The scripture is reliable all We have to do is learn and agree with it . Not try to figure out how it’s wrong and we’re right

look into the kjv method used to translate it into English it’s pretty remarkable And not something I myself am ever going to be able to out do. I prefer to just accept the holy scripture as it is and believe seems to impact peoples lives and bring people to repentance when they do that.

I’ll leave the translation to the experts.

You need a leader for this study, one that knows all scripture so thoroughly he never gets stuck on one interpretation, one who know ancient history so well he knows what the people God used to write scripture thought of the words they used, one who knows how the old and new testament relates. His mind should be free of man's interpretations such as Luther, Calvin. Where are you going to find such a leader for your study?
I try and make sure that when I study by myself or with others we stick to the scriptures, we use the tools God has given us and that I am smart enough to know which tree to pick my fruit from. We do have leaders, we have David, Moses, Isiah, Jesus, Paul John Mark Luke. Any and all writers of the Bible, for there words were inspirited by God, with the prophets were given there words by God.

I dont think this will work out so well. I think this should be limited to what the scripture actually says and possibly the hidden content.
The first vrs of fhe bible reveals the trinity, how the earth was created, and the three elements involved which are scientificly essential.

Just my opinion🤔🤔🤔

They have made some real bad mistakes; Easter in the place of Passover is the easiest one to point out, I could go on and on but I will leave it at that
Precious friend, are BIBLE study Rules part of "the tools"?

Is "the tree" a Bible version?
