She grows and expands through the centuries, always maintaining the original essence of truths. The pope is not a man of God. He is a man of the church. No man of God could teach the heinous doctrines of the Catholic church and be a born again Christian. I find it quite revealing the catholic church does not teach that even their popes are certain of heaven. They teach that they will spend only a minimal amount of time in purgatory. No catholic is allowed to know with certainty that they are going to heaven. They may only hope against hope that they have acquired sufficient grace through the sacraments to have their good out weigh their evil.

Did not hear the gospel once in twenty years of religious education in elementary school, high school or during church.

What kind of numbskull reply is that?

What many don't realize is that had it not been for their Catholic upbringing many would likely be unbelievers or Atheist today. Catholic school was a blessing to me.

That is just silly, go to any Catholic Church this Sunday and if you know the Gospel then you come back and tell me if you heard it.

They do not accept it and therefore do not teach it.

Even when I was a young Catholic and people spoke about all of its persecutions, wealth and abuse at least I knew enough to keep my mouth shut and not defend what was indefensible.
