Since you are a believer in Sola Scriptura, the Bible only, where does it say anything about your idea as posted above, in the Bible?

1 chronicle 10:13
So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it;”

It seem God did not like Saul when he try to speak to Samuel that not live on earth anymore

once I tried all 4 parts of the holy rosary, all mysteries, 3 times in a row, after each complete 4 parts I had a 30 minute break...
it took almost 8 hours
..
whoever succeeds even only 2x in a row, already feels the great light, but after three ..
but when I prayed the complete holy rosary 3 times in a row, it already created a state for me, it was like the opiates that Americans take... but without any subsequent bad states..
and that day when I slept, I had to visit the heavens, because then I experienced the most beautiful and intense dreams I've ever had... until then I had never been in such a "place" in a dream..
this is probably how the real world we are going to look like, there is complete peace and a nice atmosphere, music was playing in the background like in some game, everyone there was very friendly..

I encourage you to stop wasting your time with Catholic practices. Instead, simply talk to the Lord and read the Bible.

Mother of my lord is whats written, it does not say anywhere she was the mother of God. The simple fact we know He came in the flesh fully man. That baby she had was the messiah yet fully man just a baby like you and me were once. He had to be. The fact He told them you will do greater things then I did because I go to my Father.

Sorry but to lie like this or to twist that verse Luke 2:30 . Did you not say "Mother of our salvation?" Yet what's written is "For my eyes have seen Your Salvation, " Simeon said that about the baby Jesus. You skip over Christ and go to Mary? So look who is being uplifted not Christ. No one comes to the Father but through Christ.

Man still does this today. its look at me, look how important I am. I read how someone was "saying" they saw Jesus and didn't know why He did that because they are no one special. To not talk about why she was chosen. Skipping all those that came before her. Yeah all of them had some kind of hand in that. Yes she was so blessed but even she knew you only look at HIM!

For me again what comes to mind is how GOD wanted to be Israel's king yet they rejected Him and wanted a man like all the other nations had. So look how many look at look to some woman then Christ.

So, is Mary the mother of God? She is the mother of Jesus and Jesus is God, one with the Father. Whether you like it or not, Mary is the mother of Jesus.
Mary is NOT the mother of the Spirit of Jesus. She is the mother of His flesh only.

Jesus even addressed this:

46 While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him.47 Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.”

48 He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” 49 Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. 50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”

Why? Because the will of the Father can only be accomplished by one who has the Spirit of God in him or her.

Yep, she was Jesus’s mother. God placed Jesus in her womb. That’s pretty much it.

Cute Catholic thread.
Catholic threads about Mary on Protestant forums are always fun because it’s like seeing magnets repel each-other.

Is there something we’re not seeing here? We know by scripture that Jesus’s mom’s name was Mary. She was impregnated by the HS and had Jesus. This is all common knowledge right? Later, she “pondered all these thing in her heart.” Luke 2. Jesus also had some brothers and a dad whose name was Joseph.

Yep, we could go on and on I guess and just quote the whole Bible, and we’d all be sitting here nodding our heads saying “Yep, that’s right. There it is in black and white.” It’s kind of like looking at a Stop sign and saying, “You know, that’s a Stop sign over there.” And we’d all nod in agreement saying “Yep, it sure is.”

so if lukasdrow wants to discuss his (ahem) dreams, why doesn't he start a thread about that instead of poking an old one from 2021

how hard did he have to look to find this?

do you know anything about Catholicism?

you might try to educate yourself abit about it if you do not.....it is very different from what is taught in Protestant churches

I am not giving Protestant churches a green light either but that's another story

Jesus, Yeshua, is the Only Begotten Son of God> He was made to be a man of fleshin order for all to realize that with His suffering forour sinse, He not only had the right and authority to judge all flesh, but He had it to begin with.

He was not God while in the flesh, He was glorified after His being resurrection by the Father,.

He is One with the Father as the Father is with Him. Go to Isaiah 9:6 and you will be astonished to learn that Jesus was given the titles of everlasting Father, God Almighty, Co9unselor, Comforter, Ruler of Peace. These titles are the Father, the Son and dthe Holy Spirit, ONE.

I believe this by the faith gifted me by them, the One. No, I cannot and care not to reveal the mystery of this for this is reserved for the time to come when God returns to all a pure language so that we may all call upon Him by One Name.

As the Only Begotten Son, Jesus Yeshua was just as human as anyone here, but Whem He becamre the firstforn of the resurrection He was glorified to be back with God and to be God.

My post is saying, Jesus, Who was "In the Beginning," and is God cannot be the Son of Mary as God, for there was nothing before God Who is sthe Alpha and the Omega, with no beginning and no end..

I respect the woman, Mary, for her great standing amonst women in this age, for she is the most blessed amongst women, but not to be prayed to nor worshipped for she too is a creture as ae we all.

Okay, well let’s back up. What is your argument for worshiping Mary? You mentioned “Biblical” Mary, implying there might be another kind of un-Biblical Mary? Or am I off with that?

Okay. It’s just an odd topic to select one random person out if the Bible to talk about. Yes, Mary was a good woman. God did a miracle for her and the Holy Spirit impregnated her. Beyond that, she’s not really mentioned much again. There is a time when she wants Jesus to come out and talk with her, based on her standing as His mother and He does but says:

46 While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. 47 Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.”

48 He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” 49 Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. 50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”

Jesus wasn’t devaluing her, He was just underscoring the fact that He was part of a spiritual family as well. At no point did Jesus elevate her to a status beyond his base relationship to her as his biological mom, and to Joseph as His biological dad.

If there was one person that Jesus gave any kind of honorary recognition, it would be John the Baptist:
Luke 7:28
I tell you, among those born of women there is no one greater than John; yet the onewho is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.”

I can't disagree with you here. However, while the CC does not teach people to worship Mary, many do. As for Immaculate Conception, they aren't talking about Mary, they're talking about Mary's mom. Nowhere in scripture does it say Mary was sinless nor an "eternal virgin." That IS what the CC teaches, and it's wrong.
