Christians have both individual rights and collective rights whether or not Christians are a majority group or a minority group.
We are supposed to have the normative morality of their Christian epistemology protected as per unalienable human rights ordained by God AND the religious protection afforded in the Bill of Rights.
This is true even when anti-Christian groups of immoral people say otherwise and tyrannically seek to misuse our government to persecute us.

In reality the US is NOT a Christian majority. Sure, if you look only at polls a majority of people will claim Christianity as their religion, but just because I claim to be a Ford Taurus doesn't make me one.

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer vetoes SB 1062, controversial anti-gay bill - CNN.com I have been watching this very closely. The very sad part is that several conservatives who help push the bill through back stepped and joined the crowd imploring the governor to veto the law. This is the state of politics in the US today. Politicians will ignore the dictates of their conscience because of the fear of loosing votes. To heck with morality..... anything for the vote. Until the past five years I held to the belief that when we voted into office people of principles they would uphold those principles. Not so anymore. I have lost hope in the system. I cannot trust any politician to follow through with anything they promised during the campaign.... SIGH!!!

There is a quote that says something like, "The greatest single cause of atheism in the world today is Christians, who acknowledge God with their lips, walk out the door, and deny Him by their lifestyle. This is what an unbelieving world simply finds unbelievable."

You can't have laws where religious people are exempt. Either everyone follows the law, or the law doesn't exist. No special treatment.
Personally, I believe we should be allowed to refuse service to whomever we want. If Christians want to refuse service to homosexuals, they should be allowed. Of course, if anyone wanted to refuse service to Christians, they too should also have that right.

Percepi does the right thing by returning to the fundamental law of our land.
Choosing who can and cannot be refused for business is not and should not be under the government's purview.
The fact a law has to be written to proclaim this concept shows how far we have regressed as a free people.

Forcing someone to go against their religious beliefs IS unconstitutional.
This situation with the baker and the gay couple wanting a wedding cake....let me make this very very clear...
IT WAS A SET UP.
If I remember correctly the baker lost his business over this....because he made it known he was, oh my gosh, a christian. He was made a target. This couple knew what was going to happen when they asked this baker to make a wedding cake for them and this horrible hatred and bigotry...by the gay couple....resulted in this man of God losing his business.
God will bless him for his stand on christian principle.
I really do not see anything in our laws that would force a christian to condone sin. What needs to be protected here was....the christian, not the instigating gay couple.
Amazing the lengths the liberal....even the liberal christian....would go to further this homosexual agenda.

It's all about the mighty dollar $$$$. That's why the governor veto it. A&E stood to lose a ton of money over suspending a cast member (Phil Robertson(?)) of Duck Dynasty because of GLADD threats. Both were over religious beliefs.
