it wasn't anti-gay.
It was worse, to many liberals...it was....
pro christian....buncha hate mongers no doubt.
The US is a Christian majority country. You guys need to have a good memory and vote smarter.
In reality the US is NOT a Christian majority. Sure, if you look only at polls a majority of people will claim Christianity as their religion, but just because I claim to be a Ford Taurus doesn't make me one.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion
Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer vetoes SB 1062, controversial anti-gay bill - CNN.com I have been watching this very closely. The very sad part is that several conservatives who help push the bill through back stepped and joined the crowd imploring the governor to veto the law. This is the state of politics in the US today. Politicians will ignore the dictates of their conscience because of the fear of loosing votes. To heck with morality..... anything for the vote. Until the past five years I held to the belief that when we voted into office people of principles they would uphold those principles. Not so anymore. I have lost hope in the system. I cannot trust any politician to follow through with anything they promised during the campaign.... SIGH!!!
federal law doesn't prohibit any business from denying service to anyone on religious grounds.
at least 21 state laws do.
