I used to have a bucket list,so to speak long before it was ever hip to call it that. I don't anymore. One reason is I did many of the things that were on it when I was younger. The only few things I never got to do involved traveling. I still would like to visit these tow places, but if I never do,I'm cool with that.
From the time I was about 6 yrs old I was obsessed with the culture, people, food & films of Japan. No idea why. None at all. I was 14 before I ever even met anyone who was Japanese. I had some Korean & Chinese friends in grade & high school, and when I was in my late teens,a few Filipino friends. Asian culture is cool, but for some odd reason,Japan stood out for me. If I believed in reincarnation,I swear I'd have been born Japanese in a previous life.
So my big thing,up until I was around 32 yrs old,was wanting to visit Japan (mainly Tokyo) before I die. Not so much anymore. Not that if I had the opportunity to visit I'd pass it up,it's just I'm not so consumed by the idea of it any longer.
The other place I always wanted to visit before I died was New Zealand. Seeing the Lord of the Rings films made me want to go all the more. Again, not so much a big priority at this stage in life, but it looks beautiful.
I dunno...I suppose there's one other thing I wanna do before I die,but it's personal. I've told God,and one person. That's all that need to know.
