Can't run Christian Chat Desktop Application (CCDA) on Windows 7 SP1 - HELP

Today I re:d/l'd the app and opened it as admin and it worked. :eek:S Who knows why! I'm grateful! Case closed!

The "old" chat was based on Adobe Flash Player. Flash Player is being phased out in the computer world. Even if the old chat were maintained, new computers would not be using it.

It's kind of like having an old, rickety bridge that you can't get anybody to make replacement parts for because nobody builds with thatch any more. Do you keep patching the bridge as best you can or do you build a new bridge with modern building materials?

The "old" chat was based on Adobe Flash Player. Flash Player is being phased out in the computer world. Even if the old chat were maintained, new computers would not be using it.

For CC it seems we are running Adobe Air. Install it on your Windows computer or phone and run the CC application inside Adobe Air and it should work.

For Linux users... good luck, you'll need it.
