"you don't want to understand" "you can't get out of" "ignore facts" "blocked your ears". My thinks you protest too much!!how have i spoken against works? your led by the spirit on what to do where we abide in christ, it makes no sense we continue this conversation, you and the others just ignore what i said in post #95 because you have no understanding or anwser to it and i'm sure your conscience must be telling you something is wrong but you don't want to acknowledge that, everything i say you just disagree on it and say " nope 10 commandments only" but the bible said this.. " nope 10 commandments only" that's all that is happening here it's like a cycle that you can't get out of and none of you realise your fault when something is presented it's like you go back into your little cycle and say " nope anything against religiously following the 10 commandments is wrong" if your ready( anyone ) to actually be a reasonable person and have a reasonable conversation and not ignore the facts you can tell me anytime but i'm not gonna waste my time with people who has blocked their ears from ever understand, that's all most of you just do ignore the facts and go right back into that cycle.. well it's getting you no where and pushing you further away from God or ever knowing him
yes that is true being born of God we become servants of righteousness, doing things approved of God and i never disagree with that..Josh, Please think for a moment,,, we are both quoting the same Bible,,, right?? right. !! So, how is my verse right ,(and at the same time) your verse is right,.? BOTH verses are right ! Your verse Eph.2:1-10, is right, because, the sinner is dead, no good works will, can, save the sinner, but ,once God saves by Grace(POWER and Mercy) the saved one will be"God's workmanship unto good works" RIGHT? RIGHT ! My verse Jh.3:21 is right, because the sinners has been "born of God" so now the sinners is doing holy works from a holy new heart, RIGHT ? RIGHT ! Think contextually. then you will get the meaning of God's words. Love to ALL Hoffco
What were they doing in the temple?s'actly
Acts 2
42And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. 43And awed came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. 44And all who believed were together and had all things in common. 45And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. 46And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, 47praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.
Matthew 26:26-27
While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, "Take and eat; this is my body."
27Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you.
Are you saying, "He does cause us to read and act out God's Law (Goodness and Love) found in the Torah"? Are you including the other parts of the Law?
What were they doing in the temple?
What were they doing in the temple?
God's Law
....vs....
Law of Sin
Which one do you follow?
What would ya'all say if I told you there was a law of cleansing in Leviticus chapter 14, that relates directly to the cleaning power, and the shedding of the blood of Jesus Christ?
This whole thing boils down to the 4th commandment. Some people just can't see how faith and love fulfill its requirements.
would it change the example of what I showed above?
Again, Why do I need the law which says do not steel. If I trust God completely in all my life?
I don't. It can not help me not to steel now can it?
This is the problem in a nutshell. Fixation on one aspect of God's word. Our modern man is fixed on the spirit of the law, and it is good to know it is first. But if the spirit of the law does no lead to the law it is useless. In fact it kills, just as surely as law without the spirit. Saying it replaces law instead of leading to it is what the devil has used to lead the churches into accepting sin of its members as normal.
what? how can the spirit of the law kills? lol, you have no idea what the fulfillment of the law is do you? the spirit of the law is the righteousness of christ that changes us, this statement is just all over the place
