The more time I spend with Christian brothers, the more I get the confirmation that Jesus is prolly the only guy for me.

Perfect! Now all you need is to amass a large library of christian songs along the "Jesus is my boyfriend" line. ;)

Is this just a version of the old "the more I know about men, the better I like my dog" rhetoric?

It sounds as if you probably (just two extra letters :)) have met some less than desirable guys, but that is no excuse to write off men in general.

If I based my opinion of all women on many of the ones I've met, I'd likely have become a monk. Not all of the gender are bad.

Coolbeans, I understand what you're saying.

But I'm sure men feel the same way about us (well, not about Jesus being their boyfriend :rolleyes:, but you know what I mean.)

I'm very thankful though, that there really are some wonderful people out there, and many of them are right here on this forum. :)

I used to work with a guy who always said "women don't think like normal people"..... It was good for a chuckle or two, but then you realized he was serious....:confused:


He also was long divorced.... with no immediate prospects or plans for re-marriage.

I've always been a "vive le difference" kind of guy....:cool:

Given my many negative experiences with women I've had Other Women tell me they are surprised I'm not bitter against women. But I'm not. Gender is not the issue, individuals are.
For every woman on this site complaining about men, there's a man complaining about women.
 
The more time I spend with any women, the more I realize that I know more about thermo-nuclear fusion calibration factors... which is very little... but I know for sure that I'm so blessed to know you as my friend. Love you sis...ya bean ya.
 
I know a lot of super nice brothers in Christ. Most of them are over sixty, with a few exceptions when they're married. It all depends upon what you're looking for...I went out looking for brothers in Christ, and they're there. Now, potential mates...THAT I've had less luck in.

The Title said "Christian guys", and yet the first three answers were from Christian Guys! Whoda thunk? I thought this would guarantee most answers from Christian gals!

Christian Gals! We're slipping! Try harder! Surely we know once some says either gender, the first few posts should be from the opposite gender. We can do better than this!

As for giving up on Christian guys? You have two choices in life:
1. Find someone to go along with and enjoy life together.
2. Don't.

Either choice is valid. And, frankly, for every person who goes for the second choice, that leaves that many more options for those who make the first choice.
