Why not ! Segregation is never good !
I think not. Even though it may seem okay and that nothing will happen I believe our motives can always be tainted. Is it ok for Christian men to go out with women that are not their wife, to lunch, dinner or other entertainment?
I totally agree with you. You have to think about the others feelings and avoid unnecessary problems. If I am a man I'll bring my wife with meif my wife is not with me I will not go out with them...it is not that I can't be trusted but it is to protect my wife's feelings and our marriage even if my wife will tell me it is ok...
to avoid anything that will cause for our marriage to break down.
So for me no...it is not oK.
The society has changed quite a bit in the last decades. Now schools are mixed, workplaces are mixed. It does not make sense to avoid people at your school or work because they are opposite gender. My daughter is studying engineering where most of the student are males. She does not discriminate her friendships based on gender. She goes out with male friends from time to time as part of her school activities and everything is fine. She would however avoid those who manifested incorrect intent. Time have changed, this is today's society.A married man (or woman) has no business going out to lunch or anywhere with another man or woman.. That's how affairs start..

Just wondering... is your daughter a married Christian woman? Also... at a school setting one cannot really dictate who they have as classmates. Going on school related activities is totally different from going out on dates or couples activities. The society has changed quite a bit in the last decades. I'd give that a qualified "No".Is it ok for Christian men to go out with women that are not their wife, to lunch, dinner or other entertainment?
My daughter has a boyfriend who initially was very jealous when she met male classmates for her work. Now he is ok understanding the modern society. My daughter is Christian by baptize but does not to church anymore.Just wondering... is your daughter a married Christian woman? Having friends in the opposite gender is not a crime ! You don't want to be like certain society where women can't go outside their homes without their husband, Can't talk to men except those in family.
U r right. Having friends of the opposite sex is quite ok. Nothing is wrong with that. However, situations dictate how one behaves.Having friends in the opposite gender is not a crime ! Totally inappropriate and very insensitive treatment to the wife.Is it ok for Christian men to go out with women that are not their wife, to lunch, dinner or other entertainment?
Yeap but dishonoring a spouse is not the topic of this thread !!!Marriage hasn't changed, and dishonoring a spouse hasn't, either. If you want to be of the world, you can't be of God,
… and marriages end.A married man (or woman) has no business going out to lunch or anywhere with another man or woman.. That's how affairs start..
