thanks, I did not know the prayer was salvic, and we have to take it word for word and say it to be saved.

So tell us, how many times should we repeat this prayer daily to be saved?

But I don't think Peter was lying exactly. I think in his mind if any televangelist whatsoever said it, then777 said it too! It's quite bizarre but I don't think he was TRYING to tell a lie, with outright deceit. The result was still a lie but I think he somehow really believes it.

I think because I am a woman and a mom I agree with you. But I also realize there is a time when something false is said over and over against people regardless of the many accurate reports to the contrary.

Regardless of the many appeals to sit down and reason together. The accusations that come out are re hashed over again and again because of the same accuser who won't listen to the explanation in the first place.

You would take the TIME to find out because of what you know so far about 777. For me in this situation with these certain people, regardless of their sincerity, they are still sincerely wrong and sincerely hurting others by false accusations (they fervently accuse with) that have to be explained yet again. You are not the only one who went down rabbit trails.

I'm a firm believer in giving TIME to people and loving people and agreeing to disagree. But I don't have time to go down bizarre roads every day. Trying to deal with outright deceit no matter how sincere the people may be it's still deceit. Many people sincerely fight for a cause they believe God is behind. And we are allowed to have different view points on scripture too. We all are to believe in being saved by grace through faith in Christ's finished work alone - bought and paid for with His blood - this should be our common bond.

We can respectfully agree to disagree and still maintain the bond of love and peace. We have done it with many people before. It is not a hard thing....and none that disagreed with us are heretics, or wanting to be in sin or false teachers..false graced gnostics..satanic.....whatever other derogatory names people can come up with...etc.....

Why do you think everyone is out to get you? Why can't you just for one minute, sit still,, and listen to someone tell you what they believe, before you have to come make accusations against them which are not true?

I had people like you false accuse me of believing things I did not believe because I said I liked scofield. and dwight Pentecost. Even though the thing they accused me of (which scofieled did not actually teach, and I am not sure pentecost or others did) it went on and on and on. And I could not believe people would not confront them on their false accusations.. Well I am here to tell you. I will not be like them, I see someone falsly accuse a brother, I will confront the false accuser. I will not be an enabler.

Very much agree with you as usual EG. It is difficult to be accused especially for something you never said. At least if we are going to be accused, let it be based on what we actually said and believe.

After it's been done to us a few times it helps us to not do it to others and to stand by those who it is being done to. Being on the forums is not for babies (lol) But having made friends and met new brothers and sisters in Christ makes the journey a sweet one.

None of us will always agree 100% but we can always agree 100% on Jesus Christ being the Only Way the only truth and the only life. No one comes to the Father but by HIM. It's all learning more from there.

The Apostle Paul was no stranger to false accusers, here is an example:

So let us believers of grace continue to contend for the faith, understanding that we will get slandered, and get false accusations flung our way!

"Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake." Matt 5:11

Amen, No one is perfect. I am sure I have said someone else believed something which is not true alot.. that is not the issue. and it happens when we all get together from different backgrounds with different people who told us what others belief.

The issue is how I respond when the person says they do not believe that.

Here is a whole thread on it as well.....things are just being re-hashed here. Let every person to come to their own conclusion as to what is in the New Covenant now that the Old Covenant is passed as far as forgiveness goes for the believer.

I was thinking of that Too. I hope Ben is ok. I miss his posts also. Although he was attacked prety brutally by HeRose and others like him. so maybe he said it was not worth it and left
