Only at Costco do all books sell for $14.99... A price specifically set at 14.99 with a category of fiction tells me that they either sell only fiction at nothing but the price of $14.99 or else they have quite a variety of stickers designating the prices of their other books and potentially then even separate categories such as non-fiction, historical, classics, etc. Do they paste 14.99 stickers on all their 3.99 books, too? The price of the book isn't even the point. And I don't even care that much about their choice to portray the Bible as a lie. But that doesn't mean they're going to get my patronage. I'd just as soon go somewhere else. But the fact that you - a Christian - seem to be defending the choice to portray the Bible as a lie is what has me concerned. Now note that I have no clue what's going on in your head. But to me it looks like you're defending their decision or at least their company name in spite of this not just being a fluke but rather the whole chain doing the same thing in all of their stores.
As for me, I'm not at all angered by this. I'd just take my business elsewhere and be done with it. But I also wouldn't care to defend them. So it confuses me when I see another Christian going out of his way to do so while making light of those Christians whose arguments make logical sense.
Can't ask me to consider a certain point of view if you're just going to turn around and make light of mine. That is, unless you only wanted me to listen and not speak.
