So I just got a CPAP machine and tried using it yesterday, only to find this morning that I was pretty much entirely out of breath when I woke up. It’s like I couldn’t breathe out properly despite only having had used it for about 4 hours.

Prayer for breathing right would be awesome.

My wife has used on for years when she sleeps. It might just take a little time to get used to. I will say a prayer so that you will be able to use this device without problems.

Hi ArtsieSteph, it sounds to me like you should call your doctor or sleep therapist immediately! Maybe you need the other device, called a BiPAP, which reduces the airflow pressure when you exhale (or maybe you need the amount of pressure adjusted in both directions) :unsure:

I really don't know that much about CPAP's, and I'm not a doctor, just to be clear. I'm praying for you however.

So it could be that I'm having heart issues instead of just breathing stuff. I'm very scared.
