Yah woke me up/called me before I knew His Name. (I had heard it but didn't look into it)

I do believe that pronunciation does NOT have to be perfect for Him to know, He is the Most High, He knows all and there is even Scripture to support this

Romans 8:26, "In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we might not know how to offer our prayer worthily, as we ought, but the Spirit itselfintercedes for us, with groans that words cannot express."

With that said, He does make clear an importance of His Name, and IMO the meaning of that importance only starts with knowing it and speaking it. I could go on, but taking all into consideration:

Hosea 4:6, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you, that you will be no priest to Me. Because you have forgotten the Law of Yahweh, I will also forget your children."

Zephanyah 3:9, "Yes, at that time I will return to the peoples a pure language, so that all of them may call on the Name of Yahweh, and serve Him with one accord."

Tbh Yashua sounds strange to me, when I say strange I mean as in foreign... too big language barreer. I use it but rarely. It just doesnt feel home. I came to Jesus and I continue to call Him so. Not once I felt it was disrespectful. If you did feel that, good for you that you're following your conviction.
Oddly, YHWH and Yah does not feel foreign to me so I use these often.
I disdain the legalism of Hebrew roots movement. They also made Hebrew repulsive to me but I decided to disregard it for His sake and not get trapped into judging based on outward appearance because of what some people are doing. God does not take offense that I call Him Jesus, if He took offense with me, I'd feel and know that very well! There's no worse feeling for me than when He is offended or angry.
Wish people would stop judging others on things that are apparently not the matter of salvation. (not talking about you here, but there are many out there on the WWW)

Much better result would be opening some sort of praise thread and have every poster praise God and post a praise song too maybe, using His Hebrew name (one of). That way everybody learns something, everybody praises God, everybody joins in praise, nobody is condemned, nobody is opposing anybody. Because people have nothing against calling God with Hebrew names and learning, but they do against being condemned.

Oook... Didn't really need a explanation of why you don't like His actual name, no concern to me what someone personally wants to call the Messiah ... Rather it be Jesus or Yashua .. Sounds like Joshua to me .. Just Ya-shu-ah... and who's judging ? I learned something here.. Didn't know the letter J is but 400 years old, it's not a salvation issue, but who doesn't want to know the Creators real name ? I find it awkward of all the resistance Hizi is getting... As for legalism... I'm about His commandments, you know this and we've had discussion on this before, even Hizi has said he's not perfect, but He strives towards all righteousness, that's what we should all be doing as children of YAHWEH..

Not sure what you mean with this, as this speaks about the gift of tongues. If you mean the Spirit will add to the believer to help in prayer and perfect it then I could agree with that. I only do not agree with legalistic limitations placed upon God.
Your personal experience explains the zeal you have for Hebrew, but also other peoples' journey explains why they feel right with God in their native language pronunciation. It is incredible how much our personal walk affects us and our convictions.

Also my fault for not being clear, so IM SORRY.

I cant buy into an exact pronunciation thing because everyone talks a little differently person to person, but I have to say there are clear error IMO, like "Jehovah" hovah in Hebrew means clamity, disaster.... and it was only thought of 400 yrs ago, and at that based off of added vowel points.

I guess I missed the posts where someone said you had to pronounce the Name perfectly to be saved. We're not robots, we all speak differently, different accents. I do yearn to know the sound of the Name Messiah heard in His ears as He walked among us.

Just a thought I wonder if anyone shares..there may come a day when we don't have access to internet or even a copy of the Bible. Makes me want to study all the more and store up verses in case..

I've looked into that kind of study before. Tbh I reject it because it suggests that God has no power over what happens with the Bible and is not able to preserve it.
People in the NT also call Jesus Lord, He didnt seem to find issue with it, except in cases when they were walking rebelliously but called Him Lord and Master.
