Yeah, we've all been guilty of it. Me especially I'm sure. I have no excuse for it if I do it, just like no one else has. It's one thing to be hardheaded and do it unintentionally, but when your stance has been made crystal clear and the same people still continue to misrepresent you, they should be held accountable for it. If I misrepresent someone and they can show me exactly how, I'm happy to concede. Civility demands this goes both ways though.

Yes it is still contradictory. You're just not making sense and the only emotional part is in your post and nothing else. Leave the accusations of emotions out if it, it is unsubtantiated, accusatory and unnecessary. There is no being loyal to his word without also being loyal to doctrine at the same time. Sorry but you're off track there.

I admit, in the first few threads, I really thought people were interested in learning more about the Reformed view. But the third thread, it was an attack thread from the OP.

No, I don't believe any of those things listed in the OP. The more I studied the Reformed viewpoint, the more I read the posts on here, the more I can't believe anyone could support any other viewpoint.

Yeah, I'll agree the Word of God is the Word of God and we should stand for it..But your interpretation is not the final say and you are of no authority....So you shouldn't go around trying to rip others to shreds for not believing the exact way you do....just saying :)

anyways bro, God bless i hope this thread leads to some sort of solution to the issue in the bdf in regards to thae battles and mis representation of others, its sad to see so many warning new members against even attending the bdf because of the constant fighting and lack of patience and support. because some of those new members, and those who refuse to come to the bdf, could both offer things, and learn things if we could figure out how to come together. I didn't want to leave things one sided. What you said is true, what I shared is also. So, if we're going to be honest then let's own all of it without patronizing or compromising and instead doing it with candor and honesty. Otherwise we're flattering ourselves and spinning our wheels for nought.

yeah no man im not compromising or patronizing or anything. i understand what ur saying though. God bless you and amen fourth angel, the scripture always reminds us well, whether we need be reminded of Grace and forgiveness, or righteousness and obedience. I don't think you're doing any of it, but we should all consider our human nature and tendencies. I don't believe the quarrel here is concerning words as per your passage shared. It is all about accusations whether they are true or false. My point is that there are too many lies cast upon others.

But people do support other viewpoints Angela. And no,it was not an attack on Calvinism. I know what my intent was.I started the first thread because Lynn emailed me and said if I did not begin to listen about Calvinism our friendship would be over.So I started the first listening thread and asked questions. I said from the first I did not believe this way. Then I started the free grace thread and was called everything but a lady by some and the conversation was choked out by the other side. Then I started the last thread which was again hijacked. I have not lied about Calvinism,I have not attacked Calvinism. I did post Wesleys sermon on free grace. I pointed out where the belief was contradictory and when I did that people got nasty really fast. Im surprised by the behavior of certain people. You and I have never shared a cross word,liked each others posts and disagreed without being nasty. smh

wow,,what a mouth full...... Where did the doctrine come from...What is the doctrine you speak of. I'll even bet it begins with the letter "D".....

Let me ask another question.....The OT is the past and has nothing to do the present world, so the use of the NT is almost exclusive. Yes or NO

oh no bro i didnt mean ot that way at all, i just try to follow the heart and keep it true to where im at currently. No offense of any kind intended, and no reason for sorry. God Loves you thats agreeable im sure !
