Your mother, who logs into your account has a habit of jumping the gun into situations without knowing anything about people.
This is her first problem. And this problem isn't unique because it happens to many people, my mother included who is in a better position to say something wise about a situation relating to her brothers and sisters in real life but instead chooses something completely off.
In the Internet, where you don't know anything about people this situation is even more obvious.
For example, i know Demi longer than you here and i know that she is tougher than steel with whatever life has thrown at her and she has the grace to forgive a lot of nonsensical stuff like she did when she responded to the intrusive comments of your mother.
I know it's difficult to understand how family dynamics are outside of what you've learned on your zip code, but since respecting the boundaries is now the theme of this song, start by respecting people's boundaries first, try to be non-judgmental, don't assume things, ask more questions and then attempt to give an answer.
Don't be controlling, don't be nosy, respect free-will and don't be manipulative for different reasons.
These are some good starting points to have a good-faith discussion.

You are broken.
Since Trump won you showed your true colors too and you broke.
:coffee:

Trump :LOL: someone is obsessed.:ROFL::ROFL:

Yeah, you and you have gone to a LOT of lengths with it too so you can win some sympathy and try to fit-in.
You even showed pictures of dead Canadian soldiers to get some sympathy.

You accuse @Branch of the very thing you are doing on this thread, as per usual.

You can think whatever you will; it doesn't make it true.

What you call controlling or judgmental is simply talking about right and wrong — explaining how things are and why. And Eli, not everything is about culture like you think. God made systems for how things work, and what happens in one family often happens across every continent. Abuse is universal.

No lady these aren’t “accusations” these are things that you folks say to others and don’t like it when you’re called out on it.

While this is true Daisy, while the act of abuse itself is universal, confusing abuse for different cultural customs is the issue.
Not everything you see is abuse and not everything is the same culturally as West coast USA with Germany.

This is the part where people should be more understanding and more aware.

"This form is designed to help individuals experiencing abuse understand the dynamics of family violence and the importance of prioritizing their safety and well-being. Women and men who share their stories here are not only taking an important step toward their own healing, but they are also helping others—especially women and children—who are currently suffering in domestic abuse situations. Every nine seconds in the United States, a woman is assaulted or beaten, and 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men have experienced physical abuse by an intimate partner. Additionally, 15.5 million children witness domestic violence each year, which can lead to lasting emotional and psychological harm. By sharing experiences and reasons to leave, survivors create a powerful source of hope and strength for those still trapped in abusive relationships. Your safety, dignity, and choices are respected throughout this process."

I, myself have not suffered these types of abuses but I have had many friends who have and for a brief time while in University I worked for the Salvation Army with women who had suffered abuse.

I remember thinking how sometimes they would deny the impact it was having on them or they were in outright denial. :(

Important to keep this information front and center, it is very worthy of discussion, let us disregard the naysayers coming in and wrongly using the Christian faith to stifle discussion or those who consider themselves wise, thinking they can offer advise but in reality are fools.

My special area of interest, presently, is narcissism and I have spent a good chunk of time learning about this personality disorder.
My interest was sparked when I came to the realization I was working with a covert narcissist, so I may post on that as well since they are master abusers. They are so very skilled in their special form of abuse.

Thank you for your work!

It is universal, the "culture" argument is bogus.

You listen to Alex jones and think that assassination attempts are fake.
You have left the stage long time ago in terms of reasonable discourse.

Part of your problem here which you share with Daisy’s mother is the problem of assumptions.
You don’t want to ask because you’re afraid of what you might find out which can shatter your house of cards.
So, you make assumptions instead.

But the good news is that Trump won for the 3rd time because of this attitude from
people like you.

I have no interest in your false doctrine, been there, done that.
Anyway I am going back to the content of this thread and not responding to your bogus interruptions and accusations.

Frankly, and this isn't an accusation I do think you have good intention, but it is kinda sus to be trying to start a form on a forum looking for vulnerable women. Like if you actually are being abused what you think CC gonna do for you? And that's even frankly unfair to CC to put them in that spot. Go call the cops and go to the secular court or go back to your father and tell him the whole truth even if you think it embarassing, tell him the whole truth, and let him judge the situation and counsel you about what is best to do.

Post #85 and like the OP if you mean the Branch, idk if it is a he or a she, didn't check. Also kind of a weird choice of women celebrities, but meh I don't want get too far into this topic. I'll just say again if you' or anyone reading this are actually being abused, i'm not talking about the fake abuse claims and manipulation, i'm not talking about your ego is hurt, I mean seriously being physically abused, you should go to the police and secular law or go to your father like the Bible says and do whatever he says to do, if he says to divorce and he'l ltake care of you, do that, if he thinks you should go to the courts, do that, etc.

This is very true woman can shield their eyes to the real dangers their in and the affects on them mentally and emotionally.

Now let talk about common ways a person is invalidated so you can spot the signs and protect yourselves when it happens to you. Then next we will discuss Narcissistic personality disorder as it ties into this subject of Invalidating behavior
