Ephesians 2 is not preaching faith alone.

Faith alone is the great corckscrewing of Scripture. By faith alone, every Scripture is twisted into a lie.

1 Peter {1:15}
But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

The fear of the Lord is twisted into terror. And the judgment against evil works is twisted into judging works good enough.

The fear of the Lord is that He judges our works equally, whether believer or stranger. And evil works are never good enough.

Faith alone is that old screw, that ruptures the heart and mind, that it can no longer think straight, and comprehend sound doctrine.

Jhn 1:2
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Spoken like a true sinner. Good works are not good to do, but are a burden to cast off for free salvation with evil doing.

"We don't need no good works! We got free salvation!"
Try reading the following verses.

Acts 20:24
But I do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself, so that I may finish my course and the
ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly of the gospel of the grace of God.

Galatians 1:6
I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different gospel;

Philippians 1:7
For it is only right for me to feel this way about you all, because I have you in my heart, since both in my
imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you all are partakers of grace with me.

Exactly correct again. Eph 2 is not anything for faith 'alone', which never appears in any Scripture for salvation and justification.

Eph 2 is for recieving the gift of the faith of Jesus Christ, which He Himself lived by as the Son on earth, yet without ins, and died by as the Lamb of God, and for sins.

Man's own faith has works to be proud of. But only by Jesus' faith can any man do works honoured by God.

Matthew{23:5}
But all their works they do for to be seen of men:

Jhn 5:44
How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?

Grace and faith of God are the free gift by repentance from our own proud works.

Salvation is not freely won by Jesus' death on His cross, nor freely given without repentance on our own cross.

The gospel of Jesus Christ dying for our sins, is the good news of free grace and faith by repentance of our sins for Jesus' sake.

The gospel of free salvation without repentance by faith-alone, is a gospel of man's own salvation, grace, and faith-alone.

Gal 1:6
I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel. Which is not another;

I think Eph 2 shows that salvation is freely given to God’s elect without any requirements they must meet besides being chosen by Him to receive it. It is given once and for through Jesus Christ, by His mercy, kindness, and grace to people who do not deserve it.
It is all by God, none of it by man.

No one can accuse another of sin because that is utter hypocrisy.
Well, you certainly manage to accuse me of not sinning, as though it were the biggest sin of all.

How can anyone confessing they continue to sin, be accused of sinning, except they are lying, and are not sinning?

Just another necessary question not to be answered by offended faith-aloners:

Do you continue to sin? Or, Have you ceased sinning?

You are a stubborn and disobedient people no matter how righteous you think you are.
Once again, only faith-alone self confessed sinners believe, that always doing righteousness is the worst of sins.

Psa 106:3
Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.

Jhn 8:29
And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.

We were only ever saved by the grace of God.

Continued sinners without repenting from all transgressions, are only save by sinners grace through their own faith-alone.

Just another necessary question not to be answered by offended faith-aloners:

Do you continue to sin? Or, Have you ceased sinning?
I find that I cannot sin in Christ, in fact, I don't even have the desire to sin.

I wrestle with sin everyday but my lifestyle is orientated to Jesus Christ.

How can someone who is perfectly righteous sin?

Romans 5:17
For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive
the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness
will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

That's my righteousness.

Still I do not point the finger.

I will only ever be saved, past tense, by the GRACE of our Lord and Savior; Jesus Christ.

I cannot earn salvation because it's a free gift given to those that trust in Jesus.

Once again, only faith-alone self confessed sinners believe, that always doing righteousness is the worst of sins.

Psa 106:3
Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.

Jhn 8:29

Continued sinners without repenting from all transgressions, are only save by sinners grace through their own faith-alone.
Your self effort to achieve a personal level of righteousness will fail.

Your attempt to perfectly repent is doomed from the start.

Your placing hurdles on the straight and narrow path that no one can achieve.

Everyone was offered the free gift salvation by Jesus Christ alone.
Free-gift salvation is the most offensive purpose and conclusion of being justified by faith-alone, with continued sinful works.

What cost Jesus all His shed blood and agonizing death on a cross, is presumed to be given for free without cost to themselves, that do not repent of continued sinning against Him.

They object to being commanded and refuse to first repent, in order to be forgiven and reconciled by grace. By only believing Jesus did die for sins, they demand that they be freely justified with God, while continuing in unrepented sins and trespasses unto the grave.

Their hypocrisy is then compounded by declaring they have no part in Jesus needing to come and die for our sins, and be crucified by the wicked and bloody hands of sinners.

They say that their own sins and trespasses have no part in Jesus' necessary sacrifice for sin, and that they have no such shed blood of Jesus on their own hands. But rather that they are clean from His innocent shed blood, as though their own sins are not as wicked and bloody as others.

Luk 24:7
Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and rise again the third day.
Act 2:23
Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

Every person that has ever sinned on earth, which is every person other than Jesus Christ has our part in Jesus' sacrifice for sins: Men and women sinning is the cause for Jesus needing to come and die for sins. Men and women sinners are them that have part in Jesus' crucifixion to death.

Throwing off all the work of Jesus' crucifixion, on Jesus alone, as though all sinners have no part in His sacrifice, is the great lie of the self-righteous. And by that lie, they then demand free-justification and glorification with Christ, because they are the righteous by faith-alone, that have no need to repent first.

As one such faith-alone righteous says, The gospel of Jesus Christ dying for sins by crucified sacrifice, is not about him. He has no part in shedding the Lamb of God's blood on earth, and so he ought have free-part in resurrection unto glory, with no need to repent of sins first.

If given salvation it is a free to its recipients; however, it wasn't free to Christ
Already quoted scriptures for the sinner's cost to be freely saved and justified by grace: Repent of all sins and trespasses for forgiveness and reconciliation with God by Jesus Christ.

Free salvation without cost of our own sins and trespasses, is the lie of them that say they have no part in Jesus needing to come and die for sins, and be crucified by sinners.

The righteous by faith-alone are not the called of Jesus Christ, who only comes to saves sinner that repent.

A true belief in the gospel comes from the gift of salvation.
Any belief in the gospel comes from repentance from sinning.

Mark{1:15}
The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

There is no belief toward God without repentance from dead works.

Heb {6:1}
Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

Salvation by faith-alone without first repenting, is by sinner's own grace with sinning.

Acts{3:19}
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

Cor {7:10}
For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of:

Salvation by grace through faith-alone without repentance, is the false gospel of isolating Scripture from Scripture.

2Pe 3:15
Which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

The new creation will do good works.
More faith-alone deception: The new creation of Jesus Christ will only do good works.

The new religion of a sinful christ will do good works and evil works.

Rev 3:15
I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

The moral relativism of doing more good works with less evil works than before, is the progressive sanctification of half-hearted sinners, that will never wholly repent of sinning on earth:

Ezek 18:31
Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

Jerem 3:10
And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah hath not turned unto me with her whole heart, but feignedly, saith the LORD.

The pure religion of Jesus Christ to sin not, is not the sinner's religion to sin less.

Jas 1:27
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

5:18
We know that whosoever is born of God is not sinning; but he that is begotten of God is keeping himself, and that wicked one is not touching him.

You misunderstand that salvation is a free gift and not earned by our good behavior.
You deceive yourself that the salvation of Jesus Christ is without cost to sinners, to repent and be saved by Him from sinning.

Continued sinners that repent not and half-heartedly, gift themselves a salvation with sinning by their own faith-alone, until the grave.

You're not alone.

And I that God daily, I am not alone.

Jhn 8:29
And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.

I repented with a whole heart from my own sins and trespasses, and so am now blessed with only do the good, that Jesus does.

Them with their own faith-alone without whole repentance, are left alone to their own faith-alone. Forever.

Jde 1:12
These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

I want nothing to do with any religion that saves and justifies me by my faith-alone, and leaves me to sin alone without God unto the grave and beyond.

Incorrect, because you omitted the word grace!
Correct, because there is no salvation without repentance, and grace is included in Eph 2.

Gal 2:16
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ,

Scripture is not incorrect by not including grace, since grace is included in Eph 2.

You must understand what "grace" means.
Without whole-hearted repentance, you will not understand that your grace with sinning, is not God's grace to sin not.

Heb 4:14
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Heb 2:18
For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

Jesus' grace helps the righteous not to sin in times of temptation.

A sinful Christ' grace is to help not condemn them that sin with temptation.

You keep inserting your effort, your work, into saved by grace through faith.
You keep inserting your effort, your faith-alone, into salvation by grace with sinning.

Here it is again an alternate gospel based on a repentance from sin. and faith by repentance of our sins

Here it is again by the gospel of Jesus Christ beginning with repentance from sin:

Mat 4:17
From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Acts{3:19}
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

Cor {7:10}
For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of:

Heb {6:1}
Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

You preach your faith-alone gospel of salvation beginning without repentance, and I'll preach the Scriptures' gospel of Jesus Christ beginning with repentance.
You have corrupted the gospel of grace with your own repentance.
You have corrupted the gospel of Jesus' grace with your own unrepentance.

Rom 2:3
And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

Despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; Who will render to every man according to his deeds: …For there is no respect of persons with God.

Romans 3:28 For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.

Faith saves without works of the law. Why is this so difficult for you do understand?
James{2:21}
Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

No unrepented sinner seeking justification by faith only, will understand no man is justified while sinning against God.

Jhn 1:2
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Are you justified by your faith-alone, and also when you are committing sin against God?

I think Eph 2 shows that salvation is freely given to God’s elect without any requirements they must meet besides being chosen by Him to receive it.
Everyone is free to think what they want on earth. But after the grave, God will judge every man by His words and our works.

I've already given the Scriptures calling for repentance from sinning, to be forgiven and saved from sinning by grace of Jesus Christ.

The cost of Jesus Christ for salvation was His shed blood on a cross for sins The cost of sinners for His salvation is repentance from our sins.

Any belief in the gospel comes from repentance from sinning.

Mark{1:15}
The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

There is no belief toward God without repentance from dead works.

Why would anyone desire to cease from sinning before they believe in the gospel? Sin can only be understood relative to what the gospel teaches, so if someone doesn't believe the gospel, then neither would they care about sin. The same with dead works and repentance.

Repentance is a gift only given by God to someone from their salvation: it is only given to those whom He saves

[Rom 2:4 KJV] 4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
[2Ti 2:25 KJV] 25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
[Act 11:18 KJV] 18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.
[Heb 9:14 KJV] 14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

If someone truly believes it is only because it was given to them by God as a result of their salvation. Since He does not do so to everyone, we can know that those that truly believe, are those He saved

[Jhn 6:29 KJV] 29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
[Phl 1:29 KJV] 29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;

[2Pe 1:1 KJV] 1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:

The difference between you and I is that I trust in Jesus for my salvation and you trust in yourself. Good luck with that.
Luk 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

Luk 6:47 Every one that cometh unto me, and heareth my words, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:

Luk 6:48 he is like a man building a house, who digged and went deep, and laid a foundation upon the rock: and when a flood arose, the stream brake against that house, and could not shake it: because it had been well builded.

Luk 6:49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that built a house upon the earth without a foundation; against which the stream brake, and straightway it fell in; and the ruin of that house was great.
