What would those of you who see the NIV as corrupt, tell a person who accepted The Christ Jesus as their personal Savior after reading the NIV?
Also, they will need to learn some good Hymns (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16), which use words, not found in the NIV., such as "Calvary" ( https://www.biblegateway.com/quicksearch/?quicksearch=Calvary&qs_version=NIV ), or "propitiation" ( https://www.biblegateway.com/quicksearch/?quicksearch=Propitiation&qs_version=NIV ):

"Burdens are lifted at Calvary", etc.

Some of those persons, might even be going to a "Calvary 'this or that' Church", and yet their official Bible there might be the NIV (as used by the Pastor, congregation), and yet that word won't be found in the Bible they use, but is found in the KJB, Luke 23:33.

Simply put, the KJV is not the standard; rather, the original-language manuscripts are. Your reasoning is circular and your conclusion is wrong.

According to the logic of your argument, it is valid to state that the KJV has many additions and deletions, compared to the NIV.

However, you're not the first to use bad arguments in favour of the KJV... which is why spotting them is so easy.
You have to remember who you’re dealing with. These guys won’t relent. They worship the KJV more than they do the Christ.

Irrelevant. "Calvary" comes from Latin, not Greek.

Can the errors in other translations be correctly rectified?
Can the errors in the KJV be rectified?

Lucifer is a Latin word inserted into Jerome‘s Latin Vulgate and was not in the OT Hebrew writings.
Easter in lieu of Pascha.

That‘s two huge gaffes right there.

Can the errors in other translations be correctly rectified?
Not to your satisfaction, because you use "divers measures" (Deut. 25:14) also known as "double standards". In another thread you applied one criterion to the KJV and rejected the same criterion for another translation. You are soft on the KJV and harsh on others.

I know my bible very well.
At the men's bible study they use niv.
About half the time I am thinking I am in the wrong chapter when they read the text out loud.
The niv,is way too
different.
Kjv is razor sharp along side the greek
Way off from the greek.

Sunday I was watching a church service on the web.
The guy was reading ps 91 from I assume the niv
I can quote most of it.

It sounded like some other chapter or text

Out of politeness, I've been asking if there is a test that shows a translation to be (or not to be) the word of God.

It appears that there is no such test. That doesn't actually surprise me, though. if there were such a test, I suspect it would be well known in Christian circles.

So a person can choose to believe that a particular translation is (or is not) the word of God. But it appears to me to be a choice, a choice for that particular person.

The greek is our closest template.
Our oldest and most accurate.
The hound dogs of study use it as a baseline.

A good example is rev 20.
I always wondered where people got the notion of a resurrection after the second coming.
Niv planted that nothing burger in folks heads.
Now remember there is a curse for changing revelation
